Infinites hype was very short lived and it died very suddenly.
Mabey try again and try not to repeat the mistakes that were brought to infinites multiplayer.
The game was the most played and now it’s free multiplayer population is lower than the paid for MCC.
There probably won’t be a next Halo game if this one doesn’t make some progress. Microsoft will just shelve the franchise indefinitely.
There is no chance that happens. They will fire that entire staff including Staten before that would happen.
I agree. Probably the best way to get players excited again. I doubt they can do enough to draw back any significant player base for any significant amount of time.
In an era filled with fast passed run and gun shooters I think Halo should revert back to the classic arena style games like Halo 2 and 3. So may get burnt out on the current trend of shooters. That’s why I think Halo has always been appealing.
i played H4 right up to when MCC launched and even then it felt more alive than INF does now
Or they could abandon Infinite and add more content to MCC

Bad idea. You do not just throw away 6 years of work, especially when it is something that means a lot to people.
I also don’t want 343 to “try again” because they already did that with MCC, Halo 5 and now Infinite.

Microsoft needs to look for a competent developer for the next Halo, and 343 needs to retire.
certain affinity has an affinity for making good halo maps lol maybe they would do better than a company named after an annoying AI that betrayed us again and again
All I know is 343 has had way more than enough time to create a decent Halo, and after a decade showing that they can’t, it’s time for them to hang it up.
Last I checked, Sony now owns Bungie. So have fun having Microsoft reacquire them back.
How well are they working with Destiny though?
The Bungie that created Halo has been long gone for a few years now.
Unless we can find a dev team and management that are genuinely organized and ready to hit the ground running with a solid live service and polish out-the-gate, I honestly don’t even know if I would feel bad anymore if the franchise were shelved.
I love Halo, but the upper management has really just not capitalized on so many incredible opportunities with a good franchise.
Whatever the hell they decide to do next they need to stop trying to reinvent the wheel and stick with what works and has always worked since 2000-and-effing-1.
i’d settle for H2A 2.0, get rid of all the gimmicky equipment, and bring back classic power ups
Honestly, Microsoft should crack down on reformatting 343 into something better. Something worthy of actually making Halo games rather than three screw-up titles in a row.
Halo 4 was a case of descent narrative, but gameplay and multiplayer being very uncharacteristic of the franchise.
Halo 5 was a terrible narrative, with a well-liked multiplayer.
Halo Infinite is a good story, good multiplayer, but terrible execution at the design goals and as a result it is declining due to bugs, errors, and a lack of content at launch.
If you’re talking about the OG crew, sure. If you’re talking about current Bungie? Not in a million years.

Personnelement cest le premier multijoueur halo ou je retrouve enfin mes sensation de halo 3 dc oui il est pas parfait mais c le meilleur depuis halo 3 .
