I recently changed my sensitivity

I used to use a sensitivity of 7, and I was horrible at aiming, I could never hit any of my shots and I would always miss a sniper/beam rifle shot no matter what. I recently decreased my sensitivity to 5 and I instantly noticed improvements. I started hitting almost every shot and I am now a lot better with my ranged fights. Sensitivity is extremely important and can be game changing if you find your perfect spot. I highly suggest experimenting with your sensitivity until you find your peak performance.

I suck at this game so I play with 1.5 but yeah, sensitivity is important. Good luck with your current sens OP!

I think the aiming mechanic in this game is probably the biggest turn off to date.

For a small challenge, try playing on the highest settings possible. That’s what I always play on.

I don’t discuss my sensitivity with other people, that’s private & sensitive information. Not that there’s anything wrong with my sensitivity, everything’s performing like it should, I just don’t think you should be discussing your sensitivity in public. I only discuss mine with my wife, doctor, and Spartan Company. Call me old fashioned, but that’s how I was raised.

I play on 10 horizontal and 10 vertical sensitivity. 5 Acceleration

Same here. I see myself as twitch player who relies on muscle memory and muscle control, which hasn’t made me any less deadlier at long range.

By the way erickyboo, are your dead zones set to 0% like mine?

Both my acceleration and sensitivity are on 3.

inner 0 outer 15 I think.
Rankwise my highest was champion 5

I use 5 sens, 1 accel because 5 sens just works for me and 1 accel keeps your aim sens consistent as your sens won’t just speed up when you slam your sticks to the edge

i used to play at 10 sensitivity (this was before the changes), i was never super accurate, i always noticed i would aim a little past my target sometimes, and then i switched to a 4 and i was like a laser. However, recently my aim has not been great. I ended up switching to a 3 on horizontal/vertical and then bumped my acceleration up to 5 and my aim was a little better.

I always thought that a higher sensitivity would be better for me, because it would mean that I could aim faster and react quicker to enemies… right? Well… nope. Halo is a tad more tactical than that (I stress, a tad) and your energy is expended far more usefully in understanding the enemy movements on the map, and preparing for the next turn around a corner, rather than relying on your reflexes. By doing that, you give yourself the advantage you never had before of having control. The slower aim is better at hitting enemies at a distance, too.

Damn 1.5!!! I play at 5 Sensitivity and 5 Acceleration.

I suggest staying to a low sensitivity. I think 4 or 3 is probably the best but only because it’s what the average player is comfortable with and it helps with aiming since you’re a lot slower. Turning around fast isn’t really important in halo, especially at diamond or onyx, the chances are at that time you’re already dead.

I have bumped my sens up a bit too. I used to play 3, I now play 5. It just feels better.

It hasn’t stopped me from getting 4 perfect kills in a row…with a normal Battle Rifle.

I play on 3/3, just fast enough to be able to react quick enough in close range fights and not too fast where I overshoot too much in long range fights.

Wot in Tarnation?

But seriously, I use a thumbstick add-on and have to run at sensitivity 10 and acceleration 2. It works well with my play style, and modes I play in.
