I spent way more money on Halo 5 REQ packs than I should have. Back before the Warzone Firefight update came out. Grinding REQ points was such a pain, Halo 5: Guardians has not been fun for me, and I was impatient.
So I took the bait. I spent real money on REQ packs. Way too much. I thought the game was getting better… but look how long it’s taking them just to fix Warzone Firefight from it’s initial release 8 months ago. I’ve pretty much given up on Halo 5… now I just want my money back.
And yes, I know, I’m never going to get it back. It doesn’t matter that I’ve been a loyal Xbox Live customer for nearly 8 years, it doesn’t matter if I call up Xbox Support and yell myself hoarse at them demanding my money back (which I have not actually tried), no matter what I say or do, I’m not getting back.
All I can say is that I’ve learned my lesson, and now I know not to feed these kinds of business practices again. I bought the Classic Helmet REQ Pack with REQ Points, and I’m not even going to touch Voices of War (from what I’ve seen, it’s not worth it anyway), and HCS packs are worthless to me, so I won’t touch those even if they were made available for REQ points.
The saddest thing about this is that the money I spent goes towards HCS rather than improving this game.
never spend money on game gimmicks, i learned it just by thinking about how the req system (and similar systems in other mobile games and such) … designed to get you impatient and encourage you to waste money, like a lot of games do. It mostly based on being impatient. So I said f em I’m going to be the most patient gamer ever and keep my money, fools. People are being treated like dumb monkeys (or the classic carrot in front of a horse) because many are, especially with money
on the plus side thank you for the wealthy people who funded the updates lol

What are your issues? You say they haven’t fixed firefight but don’t explain what it wrong with it. I play it fine with no issues. They said from the start that req pack money goes to HCS so why are you upset that there are still bugs despite you buying req packs? Yeah I can acknowledge that H5 still has a bug or two and isn’t 100℅ stable. I have also bought req packs with real money, not for a long time though, but I have way gotten my money’s worth IMO
Here’s an idea, if you are going to spend anything on the packs, just utilize the Bing reward systems, that is how I racked up my cash for the Voices of War pack.

Go review my warzone boss kills post. You might cringe, but don’t pretend you didn’t feel this way when you first played.
