I’m a long time Halo fan, I’ve been playing since around 2006. Halo has changed my life, for the better. When Bungie announced their departure and 343i came in I was at first at little hesitant. Halo 4 was good, I loved the campaign, the story was especially great, the only problem I had was the multiplayer :3 So when Halo 5 was announced I immediately pre-ordered the game. The campaign was well, while it did feel a little short… I had a blast playing it, I love the new weapons and I think the Promethean solders are a really fun enemy. I replayed the campaign a couple times to really understand the story and while it wasn’t the best I still for the most part enjoyed it. Then I went and tried out the multiplayer. And I was BLOWN AWAY!!! The mechanics are so fun and smooth, 343 made Halo feel more up to date with most fps game while still giving that classic feel. And the fact that all the DLC is free is awesome! Yeah yeah I know “But that was supposed to be in the original game” well at least they didn’t make you have to pay for it! Overall I’m really enjoying Halo 5!

I also enjoy the game, just sometimes it REALLY infutiates me.
Same here, Halo 4 was the first halo game I didn’t enjoy and I ended up trading it in. Halo 5’s multiplayer is fantastic.

At least? No, it is and should be expected that they would put those gamemodes in the game for free. If they tried to nickel and dime us for Assault, Grifball, Infection, etc, this game would be even more of a ghost town.
But I am somewhat glad that you enjoy the game. If you like it, good for you. It’s not my cup of tea.
I am an original Halo CE fan HBO fanboy here. I just keep buying the games to help me get back that nostalgic feel, which is getting harder and harder with the newer games. I loved the idea of TMCC, but for those of us there since day zero it was bad. Real bad. Halo 5 is keeping my interest with the multiplayer and REQ packs. More so the REQ packs, because some of the items I just really want. As for the DLC being free, why should we have to pay extra for the addition of Forge or added gametypes? That’s not cool if they made us pay for it, I doubt many people would. I know even as a huge fan I would not pay for Forge to have been added since I can not be disconnected from an active Internet connection to use it.
I love Halo 5 as well. Sure it’s not perfect but every Halo had a thing or two I didn’t like. I am a certified Halo addict.

Halo 5 is like a rollercoaster, it has some of the most amazing highs, but the lows are absolutely gut-wrenching.
i do think its the best halo game since halo 3. and the best thing 343 has done. but there are still a lot of things in it i dont want to see in halo 6
