I hope there are normal weapon pickups on maps, such as the needler or plasma pistol lying around in set locations. I don’t want these to be spawn-only, and I know the power weapons come in ordinance drops, but what about the lesser weapons? I know Louis Wu said he saw a few needlers laying around, but people may have spawned with them. This leads me to believe that we may not get to pickup smaller weapons, and that we can access them at spawn. Or do you think they will have spawn timers (as in the previous Halo games)? Leave your comments or opinions below.

I’m pretty sure there’ll be regular weapons too. I think power weapons are the only one with random spawn times.
The regular weapons will probably have set spawn times just like all the other games. It would only make sense.
I don’t think 343 will not have weapons already on the map. It’s been in halo to long, to remove weapons not already on the map just wouldn’t work. The ordnance drop is the only exception to this.

Powerups were in Halo on the maps for quite a long time too, but they are nowhere to be found now. People spawning evenly was in Halo for quite a long time too, but that is nowhere to be found now. Now that we have custom loadouts, what is the need for having normal weapons on the map when you can spawn with whatever you want?
It wouldn’t surprise me if weapons avalible in the loadout system are not on the map (I hope Im wrong though), but I doubt every non-power weapon is in the system. So I’m sure there will still be weapons on map.
