After some reflection, I realize that warzone is the gametype I wanted to play. I shall elaborate.
I remember during halo reach, I sort of tried to make a base-based gametype where you would get points by capturing bases and the more bases you had, the more points you got. Sounds simply enough right? Except I also wanted to have sort of a way to fight for certain bases which were like armouries or vehicle depots. One of the ideas I had was to have a sort of base somewhere which would give your team a scorpion tank that could be activated somehow. So I definitely had something like that in mind. I wasn’t able to create the gametype in reach, but here we are with a big mode like the one I wanted to create. Multiple bases, a vehicle-getting system, armoury bases, warzone is what I wanted. And I wanted to create a sort of great big team experience, which warzone is with 12 players per team.
So yeah, warzone is a mode I’ve wanted to play for a long time now that I think of it!

A lot of people want to play Warzone
Yeah, this is something I’ve wanted for a long time as well, Erick. People thought I was crazy for wanting computer-controlled enemies in a mode outside of campaign and Firefight/Spartan Ops. I wanted it in a multiplayer mode. I was totally unexpecting of 343 to make a mode like this but I’m so glad to see Warzone happen.
Seems like many other people wanted it too then! Pretty great this mode’s coming.
I’m not usually into these kind of gametypes. But warzone does have me intrigued, I doubt it will be my main playlist, however I might dabble in it from time to time.
As far as the rest of the community, I think this will be a solid gametype. People have been asking for a bigger gametype for awhile now. I think people will have a lot of fun with this.
I can’t wait for Warzone so I can wreck someone’s Scorpion tank that they got from using real money.

what if they make a gametype where its just BTB but there is flood running around as well that would be pretty cool
