I initially thought preferences would work very well. Turns out it doesn’t. Its still the same thing. Every match in Arena since the update dropped, I have been playing with onyx and diamond players when I myself is considered platinum (I more of a gold player to be honest and is it me or did it get a lot worse)
If we are gonna have a ranking system like this, at least have it be more organized.
If players want to solo rank, then they can solo rank by themselves no party up or maybe just have fireteam limit of 2 players
Ranked teams should have their own playlist which requires a fully dedicated team. Then they can see if they can compare themselves to other ranked teams. (and I’m pretty sure a lot of people will make a dedicated 4 man team)
Now going a little off topic
Arena map spawns are way too predictable. Especially stasis and torque. Yet regret and truth are some of the maps that I found to be less predictable and where I literally have to search for them. Perhaps it has something to do with the size of the map. Idk but this makes map control much easier and can put a team way in the lead. Like to the point where I can’t even enjoy ranking. Not only that during HCS on plaza, was the most boring matches ever. Whenever that map popped up, they camped outside of yard and the opposing team was trapped in there. Like omg, how are you going to get some good footage of crazy moments. Halo should be where points are close to each other and heartracing moment.
