Last night was the first time I hopped on Reach matchmaking in years, and I loved it. Great game of “Standard” Slayer. I forget what the standard means, but the DMR and pistol felt great. The only thing that kind of annoyed me was the heavy breathing the Spartans would do when they were sprinting. I guess that’s a balancing factor that Bungie put in.
Anyway, I wanted to know from the “hardcore” Reach community how they would feel about a Reach remaster. The game is still as beautiful as I remember it, so I don’t think it needs updated graphics, but seeing Reach in 4K - 60fps (or as close as they can get it) would be nice.
I play the MCC and 60fps on the classic games is amazing. Let me know what you guys think. Should 343 remaster or do you think it’s a mistake?
A remaster would be pretty cool. Maybe in the year 2020? If there is any time to remaster the game, it would be ten years after it’s released like Halo CE and Halo 2.
Honestly I’d just want it purely for the campaign cut scenes. It’s always been the first thing I look at in amazement whenever they push graphical enhancements to halo games.
I hope it doesn’t get remastered, it would drive people away from the original game, killing it and then the 360 owners will need to buy an Xbox One and the remaster just to play it again. I guess that depends on how good the remaster is, but still.
