I own the game disc and downloaded free trial

Back in the day of Halo 5 launch, I bought Halo 5 a physical disc. About a week ago when Halo 5 was free to play, I was curious to see what would happen if I install there. So I did. Now, somehow it let me play Halo 5 without disc. What a convenience, I don’t have to put the disc every single time I play Halo 5. So GOOD. Do you think it would work if I install my disc to another Xbox One and playing on both console at same time?

I am wondering the same thing. Except, I only rented the game from Redbox about two months ago and never deleted the game. Now, I can play the game like I own it.

I have been trying to find d out if 343 has extended the free play days to today, July 7th or somehow I have the game permanently now.

I gotta ask my friends who installed Halo 5 for free last week if it’s still playable or not.

It’s due to the free play still being active, once it’s gone (was supposed to be gone on the 6th) you’ll need your disc again. It’s cuz you are using the free play digital to get in, once it’s gone you’ll lose it and need the cd.

Once the free time ends, you’ll be disappointed.

I thought the free trial already ended.

You sure? I can still play NBA 2k16 even though I got when it was free to play days was active…

I had that same question… My game its installed, I havent downloaded the free to play and I can run the game without the disc.

I’ve been able to play it at different times today, each without the disc. Perhaps it is permanent, or perhaps the Store hasn’t caught up with everyone.

DUDE
HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE.
When I downloaded that game during the free play days it locked up after the period was over…
I have the worst luck
