I can’t get into Warzone games I prefer Arena. I miss the vehicles but I like the close combat more.
I have so many vehicles to use but no desire to play Warzone.
Does anyone feel the same?
I only play the Team Arena mode, sometimes I play Fiesta.
Warzone might be so less fun cause I play solo, I would need a good team but even then I like Arena more.
Is this weird or can you understand why I like Arena?
I also can’t make my self using the sniper it is so different then the other Halo games, I can’t use it but I also blame my internet connection.
One more reason to not play Warzone cause of too many people in a lobby causes me to lag.

It’s not weird, we all have our differences in what we like and pkaying with friends makes warzone a lot more fun, specially firefight.
I’m the opposite, I hate arena and play almost warzone exclusively. Except for the occasional fiesta.
I never liked warzone much either but I did allow for super fiesta to be a thing so you know there’s that
We need more players in Arena… too many Warzone “softies” out there.
Yeah Arena is where its at. I like Arena more because you know your deaths were, for the most part, your fault.
I would play more Arena, and maybe Halo 5 in general, if there were standard permanent social playlists (social slayer, social objective, multi-team). As a non-competitive player, my options to have fun are very limited.
Plus, the maps are all mediocre and the same. I miss the quality and variety in Bungie’s maps.
Stay there where you like,move on if your mind changes and come back when you want.
I pretty much only play Arena too, I want to play Halo not whatever this Warzone abomination is.
I prefer arena too, the only thing is, I don’t like the 24/7 competitive gameplay smacking you in the face every time you play in a playlist other then infection or action sack.

It’s not like halo 2 or 3 where BTB still felt like the rest of the game.
I digress. Yeah, I too have been playing more arena lately.
I play both, 60-75% WZFF, and 35-40% ARENA.
Started just doing WZA, to unlock everything. When WZFF came out I spent most of my time there. Quickest way to get REQ points for the updates.
Only recently have I played BTB and custom games.
I’m loving it all.
Arena BTB about 98% and WZFF when I want a break from it. It’s unfortunate that you earn way more XP and RP in Warzone. Check just about anyone who is up there in rank, and WZ is the majority of their play time if not at least half.
BTB is a “featured” playlist right now and all I get without a boost is about 1300XP. That seems about the same for any of the other playlists. Very disappointing the obvious slant towards WZ.
When I first started playing Halo 5, I primarily played Warzone. Now I hardly ever, I just get bored of it. I usually cycle through all the playlists. One day I’ll grind some FFA, then then next day I’ll play a lot of Infection.
If I have friends on I’ll usually be playing Arena, If I’m by myself I’ll play some Warzone or BTB. As another poster mentioned I would really like it if they added a Social Team Objective playlist with some classics like Oddball, KOTH, Team Regicide, maybe some Race gametypes.

I’ve found out if you just play warzone without worrying about winning or losing it can be pretty fun.
I don’t much care for Arena outside of Infection. I really liked the old Breakout too but I dislike the updates to it. I just prefer the bigger maps and more players. Warzone is my favorite thing from any Halo ever. Perhaps if they added Oddball or King of the Hill I’d play more arena. Until then I’ll stick to Warzone.
I enjoy Warzone for the fun-to-use REQs and increased odds of getting a high kill streak due to amount of players. Arena is great too but I prefer the classic halo arena style.
Maybe you could try WZ again, you have like 3 games of it played. Unless you were on some other account. Anyway to each their own.

Not all game modes are meant for everyone. Glad you’ve found and stuck with something you enjoy.

(Bold) I couldn’t agree more. I feel like long term this will hurt Halo maybe. Your just going to keep having two separate player bases who will continue to fight each other on a lot of issues. I’m not really a fan of warzone. It was an interesting idea, but it just feels way too mashed together or something. I just can’t take it seriously… and when I don’t do that I don’t care what happens, which means I’m not engaged, which means I lose interest VERY fast. Warzone was there excuse to add in mirotransactions. The whole mode was built around it. It takes up WAY too much of the game resources too IMO.
Personally, I’d rather 343I scrape Warzone 100% and focus on firefight. Have say 2 FF version. An ODST style one, and then a WZFF one where, as much as I hate mirotransactions, 343I could still use them in a WZFF type mode. Have there 3-5 different versions of there stuff still. I feel they could do A LOT with firefight. Heck, they could do a mash up of a firefight/hoard type mode even.

I’m much more of a Arena player too. I only really played Warzone too start with to check it out, not really a fan (see reasons above) Now the only Warzone I play is WZFF. In Arena I play FFA, Doubles, 4-4 and BTB. I would love and play a Team Objective playlist as well. Have Oddball, KOTH, CTF and Head Hunter! (Such a under rated game mode IMO) I’d love a social 4-4 Slayer playlist too. I do like the idea of the Community playlist though, and I play it the odd time for a change of pace, but I feel like this playlist should also be used for testing Maps made from the forgers.
