I stuck up for this game long enough. The lag is awful. The contact is awful. The glitched achievements are awful. These CoD respawns that get you killed 3 extra times on top of the ONE time you should have are awful. The loadouts are awful. Showing where the weapons are is awful. They even ruined SWAT. People will kill you with literlally one pistol shot through a wall from long distance after pelting them with in the face 5 times with a DMR, ending your streak. That’s another thing that’s awful, the Killcam. It flat out shouldn’t exist. That’s not called sucking, thats called nonsense. It’s unacceptable.
This game is almost never enjoyable, even when you’re slaughtering the other team. But, instead of quitting until you find a match with no lag. They want you to suffer through it or else they’ll ban you. It’s limited. No wonder that CoD is beating them with their boring series. 343 is hopeless. Halo died with Bungie. As Bungie didn’t have these problems
So long Halo. It’s been a great run and i’ve been with you the entire way. But, 343 has proven to be a company that doesn’t care one bit about the gamers and just wants money. They won’t fix ANYTHING after multiple years of people telling them to. So you can expect that same attitude and problems with Halo 5. You lost yourselves and Microsoft a lot of loyal fans and MONEY,which is all they really care about. I’ll just buy a PS4 instead to play Batman.
343i is hopeless… and yet you spent your time just to join and rant on how bad of a game it is.
If you don’t like it and have no faith in 343i to bring back Halo, then move on with your life. It’s as simple as that, buddy.

And I’m sorry, but if you expected a constructive response you should have made a constructive OP. This, “Halo is dead because I say so. Tough.” nonsense is what’s unacceptable here. If it’s truly dead to you then just LEAVE already!

It’s not exactly “joining” when all I had to do was type in a microsoft email and password I’ve already had for years. I’ve also lurked here for a while. Anyway, I plan on moving on. I stated that very clearly. I said what I felt and it’s my final statement aimed towards 343i, not you. After all, this IS the place to leave customer feedback for Halo, as stated in the forum description. It’s no different than filling out a comment card at a restaurant or complaining about how Ghostbusters 3 will kill a franchise I have loved all my life. So relax, buddy.

My post was more than constructive. Yes, it was spoken in “nerd rage” form. But, I still pointed out all of the biggest problems with Halo 4 matchmaking. It’s not my fault that it’s same problems i’ve seen posted all over this board within the last 2 years and 343i has still done nothing to improve it. Instead they give false hopes. Let’s face it, they will never fix the achievements issue or anything else.
I can give credit where its due. CE Anniversary was outstanding. And although I mainly stick to SWAT, Proving Grounds was a promising move and brought some of that old school feel back that kept you constantly thinking. But when there is constant lag, bad respawn spots, frame rate and contact issues, and any of the other issues that i’m tired of repeating, it makes the game more frustrating than anything. I don’t hate Halo 4. But, i’m not going to hold my breathe waiting for them to fix the bugs and make it fun again. I don’t think I am out of line for showing a lack of faith for Halo 5 due to these circumstances.

Except the franchise is already dead in your opinion. The whole point of feedback is to help make a positive change, but if something is dead, it’s not getting better. Otherwise it wouldn’t be dead.
Therefore, because we’ve already established that your motivation can’t be to improve the series, you made this post because A- You wanted a little attention, B- You were pissed and just wanted to vent, or C- You posted just to spite 343.
I’m guessing a mix of all three, am I right? “Look at me 343! Look at me Halo community! I’m so angry! Rawr.” - and that’s why I these posts make me angry.

Reality check- Saying that, “[Thing] sucks and is awful” is not constructive criticism. You actually have to explain yourself.

Nothing wrong with that. As I said, it’s called customer feedback and 343i needs to hear everyones feedback as well as mine. I could care less if anyone else read it or replied. But I refuse to sit back and say nothing is wrong with a franchise I love when there clearly is. Anyways, if you still want to twist my motives, then have fun. It won’t bother me. I’ve observed many internet forums, it’s common.

I did explain myself. Lag is lag, bad contact is bad contact. I explained very clearly why those CoD respawns are awful. I explained how frustrating it is to shoot someone in the head 5 times point blank in SWAT just to be capped off thru a wall due to these problems. I don’t need to explain why the Killcam shouldn’t exist, anybody that knows Halo should already know that. If they want to emulate CoD that badly, at least keep the Killcam OUT of SWAT. It doesn’t belong there and defeats the whole purpose of no radar SWAT. If you opponents can’t figure out what’s going on. Then they should have to get better.
If 343i will at least fix the achievements not unlocking, than I will give them the benefit of the doubt and another chance. But, I don’t see it happening. It would’ve been done already
Man come on! Yah, sure everyone’s got their own opinions but please don’t take it this far, man! Sure, 343 made little mistakes, but everyone does! And lag is lag, but that’s isn’t 343’s fault! Normally someone’s connection, maybe yours. I mean, coming to the all out fanbase of Halo and only to rant and rave about how ‘ruined’ it is, that’s…sigh. I…I can’t even begin to say how ignorant it is. Please. Take your hate elsewhere, yeah?

So you are saying they ban people for speaking their opinions? No wonder they are losing their fanbase more and more everyday. They just refuse to listen to the fans that keep them going which is, sigh, I can’t say how ignorant that is. I even noticed that they delete every comment that say anything remotely negative towards Halo 4 on FB. Instead of ignoring it, they should be listening. That’s called bad business. The franchise won’t die, it’s much bigger than the game itself. But, You guys aren’t helping me build back any hope for the future of Halo gaming. So if that’s your intention, change your approach.

H4 has its problems, but I think 343 has been making an effort to improve it. I think a lot of halo fans are hoping 343 learns from its mistakes with h4, and makes the next game as the majority of fans want it to be. Sure you can come to the forum and vent, but that is hardly constructive. And they don’t refuse to listen to their fans, else they would not have made changes.

With the recent playlists I will agree that the are doing something to improve. However, they should keep the glitched achievements at equal priority. It’s not a huge deal when its some other game company. But when you’re in charge of flagship franchise for Microsoft, achievement glitches are a huge deal.

You are just phishing for a pointless argument in fanboy style. Have fun with that. I’m not going to repeat my explanations for the 3rd time because you choose not to read it properly and just want to twist things. Somebody complained about your favorite game, deal with it. Its not the end of the world. Nobody should get that offended over a internet forum post, ever. It’s ridiculous.
First of all, I agree with you for the most part. Halo 4’s multiplayer was good, but mostly because of the foundation Bungie had already built. IMO, 343i did much more harm than good to it.
That said, if this topic is locked, it will only be because you posted your opinion in the form of a rant. Opinions are fine as long as you aren’t disrespectful in them (e.g. “343 is hopeless”). Doesn’t matter if you think it’s true; you can post opinions without being disrespectful.
S 000 DeM is right in that it is contradictory to give customer feedback to a franchise which is dead (unless, of course, your feedback has the power to resurrect). So, I’m left to assume that you don’t really think that Halo is dead, you’re just angry and don’t want 343i to mess up again.
Lastly, I think everyone needs to admit that even if they want to defend 343i, 343i has messed up majorly regarding multiplayer. I’m not just talking about Infinity settings; I’m talking about achievements not working, not telling us that TU content doesn’t work in Spartan Ops until the day before they released, no classic Team Slayer BRs playlist until 16 months after launch, etc., things that we should all be able to agree weren’t handled well. Why does that seem so hard?
Ok, well next time I have a complaint I’ll wait until I’m not actively annoyed at the game to say something about it so I don’t stir the pot. Problem solved. I just figured it would come across the same way a silly Yelp review would. Lol
