If this keeps up how they treat Warzone like a glorified version of Slayer, then I think 343 is gonna need to make another Mister Chief video explaining to random players and new comers alike: What Warzone is and how to play it.
Just for the record you’re a random yourself so I suggest you alter that title to make it less of a idiotic generalization.
I feel that most people just go to the action, I can’t blame them for not wanting to run at warden eternal with a pistol all by themselves. not to mention the broken “who shot last” system almost entirely discourages many. Honestly though, just getting some pals together to play warzone is the best fix to that problem.
I really hate the system of last shot earns all the points, I want it to be based on a percentage of damage dealt.
Wohoo blame me.I like fighting spartans and not farming AI bosses like in a stupid mmorpg. And the final shot system ? no thanks lol. When btb releases I’ll probably don’t have to hang around in warzone anymore.
To be fair, the game is terrible at explaining the objectives. Out took me a few matches to figure it out. You will always get kids that just want to pad their k/d and play death match.
Few people think ahead and run for the middle base when your team is capping the first armoury. Also, I lost Tankmaster Rok while I was shooting non stop with a sword ghost and some wfirhwavukyesfgcuahkergckyusergkuefrgaukevrgs on the other team got the final shot in with his magnum.
MAGNUM. ON A WRAITH.
Agreed. And they end up getting walloped trying to take the middle base. It’s not control! That’s what warzone assault is for!
I found out quickly killing bosses and trying to win in Warzone is a waste of time. Someone will always steal it or a lot of the time you won’t even get an assist if your team gets the kill, so I don’t bother.
The last shot gets the glory is great if your the one who gets it, but I think it just needs some guys defending against poachers, more teamwork required
People don’t go for bosses because they care for their all so precious K/D ratio, and sit as far as they can with a BR, slowing down game-play tremendously.
The whole “last shot” system makes me leery of doing it unless I can take them down quickly. Nothing like pounding the Warden with tank shell after tank shell for one random guy on the enemy team to shoot him once with a magnum and get the kill.
I don’t go for them because of the last shot system. Waste of my time.
How do you know who’s a “random” and who isn’t?
I almost always roll with a team and I’m an anti-player wrecking machine.
And just remember, you’re a random to literally everyone else.

If you have a fire team going into matchmaking, that’s your fire team. Take a look at yourself, that’s you. Take a look at the opposing team, they are your enemies. Take a look at all of these people on these forums, call them by their name they gave to themselves.
When you go into matchmaking and you are paired up with people you have never met, the ones that either talk to you and the others, the ones who haven’t spoken to other team mates, the people you are paired up with when you are not in a fire team; those form a team, only temporary, but a team. But aside from you, they are all randoms within that team.
Interesting how the last shot system is really being brought to a somewhat more blunt and noticeable light.

I care about my precious K/D and have over 300 bosses six feet under. Thoughts?
I do both, but I have never been able to land a kill on Warden Eternal, such an annoying boss fight. Especially when the enemy has 3 ONI tanks, 2 Banshee Ultra.
I’ve noticed that not only are randoms ignoring bosses, they hardly ever use their req cards.
I guess I’d be that “random” you’re talking about, but make no mistake: I know perfectly well where the boss is and what I’m expected to do with it. I know all about taking bases. I know all about the value of sticking with my team mates. I know all about using reqs for power weapons and vehicles. The thing is that I deliberately chose to do none of these things. I’m sorry if “winning” or “losing” still has meaning for you, but it doesn’t for me. I find myself a nice rock to hide behind and go 11 and 2 every game. And I love it. I mostly don’t even know who won or lost at the end. That aspect of the game is meaningless and I tune it out.
