I no longer want a ranking system, its yours.

Title pretty much sums it up.

I no longer think Halo4 has potential to amount to something better. Don’t get upset about this, because I will no longer criticize any casual ideas or promote further feedback to change the game.

I just don’t see how 343 could have ventured so far away from the original Halo experience. I was stunned by how Reach did that. But Halo4 managed to do it even more. I purchased the game and expected the following verbatim day1…

  • 50 kills to win gametypes in MM, big team objective, FFA slayer, etc…
  • doubles, swat, snipers full time
  • quality maps, that are not big, not narrow/rocky trails, looked Campaign like, etc…
  • ranking system
  • lobby system like Halo2/3

That was way too much to ask for. I hope 343 the best in the future. As much as I would like a Halo2 Remake, please do not consider. It would make me and like minded people rage more to see you attempt this.

Thank-you for trying to carry out Halo. I liked the Forward Unto Dawn series. PCE.

Bye!

Can I have your stuff?

See ya man, its been nice. Not.

I got a broken Turtle Beach Headset I can only hear through…

I got a Xbox360 with the front plate ripped off…must use a knife to open tray.

Controller has electric tape wrapped around it to make it work…

Halo4 was not worth upgrading my stuff for.

Why would you have expected any of these things when they said they weren’t going to be in it? I dont get why there are so many people who complain about changes they made even though they knew ahead of time, yet they still bought the game…

> See ya man, its been nice. Not.

I know. At least now there will be less arguing. If you enjoy Halo4, have fun.

I just can’t offer old feedback to games like this. The end result would be even more messier.

I, for one, had no idea the playlist management would be like this. I consider a full time, day1, snipers/swat/doulbles to be there. It’s a staple of Halo.

Seriously? now you pull ou the “it’s the staple of Halo” card? playlist managment alway’s changed in each Halo game. i myself prefer it this way, i can atleast play the gametype’s i want without taking hour’s to find somebody.
by the way it’s your fault that you didn’t do the research about the game. it was announced weeks before release.

While the # of kills makes little difference, I do agree with a lot of the issues you have. And yeah, I have no idea why they changed the lobby screen the way they did; the total lack of information to the non-party leaders is astounding.

Everything else, if you care to read it all, I go in depth on here. You might like it, or it might be ‘too long’ to read, which I wouldn’t blame you for.

Good for you! you can play the playlists you want, but how about him being able to play the playlists he wants when they aren’t there?

Snipers/Swat/Doubles have been in Halo since Halo 2, and have been in ever since along with other gametypes like 1 Flag CTF and Assault, once implemented they were never removed. They are staples of Halo’s matchmaking.

Maybe they should remove the junk playlists you like with 2000 players, and keep those more popular playlists in permanently. No Halo game has been this dead, under 100k people 1 month after launch, and this is one of the reasons why.

Why is swat still being brought up, its still in the game.

> Why is swat still being brought up, its still in the game.

As soon as swat takes a hit in players for a week, it will be rotated out. Just like KOTH and we probably wont see it for another 10 weeks when it happens. They have a preferred number of playlists and they don’t want to exceed it. What happens when all the playlists are equally popular? They will have to remove one to make room for one of the rotational playlists, like FFA throwback.

> No Halo game has been this dead, under 100k people 1 month after launch

There also has not been the amount of other games out as there are now.

Call of Duty, Borderlands, Forza, Battlefield, Minecraft, Skyrim, NBA, Assassin’s Creed. There is enough games out there to keep a lot of people’s time occupied.

Stop your gloom and doom. Halo 4 is the best Halo game online, ever.

Even though none of the Halo games had those on launch? Seems legit!

And there wasn’t any good games in 2010 when Reach came out either? Also you’re mentioning some games from 2011.

Call of Duty, Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2, Battlefield BC2, Assassin’s Creed 2, GTA expansion TLATD, SSF4, NHL 11, Madden 11, NBA 2k11, Final Fantasy XIII, the list goes on and on.

Just like this year there was a lot of games to keep people occupied, but Reach was going strong 1 month after launch, Halo 4 having the best launch day of all the Halo’s has the least amount of players 1 month later online. Must be because its the best online game ever.

well a lot of people are disappointed because their expectations were wrong. ppl were expecting halo 2 remastered, and what 343 gave was halo reach 2.0. they obviously took more from halo reach than from previous titles.

so, its time for the old fans to move on, and new fans to enter the franchise. if you don’t like the newer titles of a series, don’t buy them. Thats what you have to do for Resident evil. or COD. or Medal of Honor. But I still like halo 4. See you later dude.

> No Halo game has been this dead, under 100k people 1 month after launch

Even though it’s undeniable that H4’s population is small in comparison to the all-conquering CoD, defining 100,000 as “dead” is ridiculous.

Try visualizing what 100,000 people looks like. Roughly two football stadiums full of people. If you were sitting in just one of those football stadiums, would you be able to say “This place is dead”?

^I got dibs on his plateless 360. Tray isn’t an issue, I always have my Leatherman nearby. :stuck_out_tongue:

I wouldn’t say dead, as much as I would say ‘losing resale value.’

Game launch: 400k+ people.

Now: Roughly 100k. Still a lot of people but it shouldn’t have changed that quickly.

Yes it is. That is like asking for another Halo 2 or Halo 3. And to that I will say…WHEN IS HALO 2 ANNIVERSARY COMING OUT?
