This is it guys. We have wondered for nearly 5 years over what the future holds for the Chief. It was E3 2011 where us fans were in awe of the unveiling of Halo…4. Some of us even cried. We watched the announcement trailer 300+ times. One analysis after another. We saw obscure concept art later that year amidst the release of a fresh Halo CE title. Then the legendary year of 2012 began, and we graced our earholes with every tidbit of Halo 4 weapon sounds shortly thereafter. But our first real look was Just weeks ago. A glorious display of multiplayer with a hint of campaign. We saw Halo 4 in its own likeness for first time, a moment us fans have been waiting 5 long years for. But we now have mere MONTHS to finally give the Chief, and Halo for that matter, a big welcome back! The year is 2012. year of his return…Honestly guys I can no longer wait for this game

You sir, have described an emotion I have had a hard time describing, thank you. Its nice not see a post not flaming Halo 4 like most of these forums are covered with.

You could try reading the books and comics to help you with the wait. I just started reading Halo Cryptum and so far its really good. Easier to undertand than some of the other Halo books.

If what 343 said is true, there will be references from the novels in the Reclaimer trilogy and that should make for a more immersive experience for fans of the Halo universe.

Yeah I might read up on some of those over the summer.
