I never thought I'd be THAT guy

But I’ve found myself playing Halo 4 less and less. Over time, the random bs coming from 343i and their inattention to the community and obvious matchmaking issues has just worn me so thin.

I really never thought that there would be a day where I booted up my 360 to watch Netflix and Youtube more than I do to play Halo.

I’m really bummed out, and I was wondering if anyone else feels the same?

Same here, I am extremely disappointed with 343 industries.

I actually enjoy it.

I’ve been doing the same, but mostly because I’m busy with school, work, exploring music, and hanging out with friends, as well as playing my favorite video game, Bioshock Infinite.

You can’t do it all, you know? It’s a shame, too, because I constantly draw map designs in the little free time that I have, and I never have time to construct any of them.

I’m honestly not surprised. I saw this coming months before the release when I told people to not put faith in 343 yet because they haven’t proved themselves to be a good or even competent developer yet. Seems I was right all along and now it’s all downhill from here, I’ve seen this too many times already.id give anything to go back to the 90’s when games were fun, good, and challenging all in one. Not this spoon fed everyone is a winner garbage we have now. What’s next honestly no scoring in halo 5 just participation points?

I lasted till march break, then I just snapped.
I went back today, and multi team is kind of fun.

I dislike people like you who where like I saw it coming. Stop being so pessimistic.

Halo 4 is the only Halo game that I’ve felt like i had to force myself to play. I’ve loved all of the other games, but Halo 4 just isn’t fun for me. It’s unfortunate.

I’m there with you.
I try my hardest to play this and enjoy it. I can get a couple matches in where I’m having a little fun but then it gets frustrating due to the -Yoink- matchmaking/boring because the same maps and gametypes are being picked/ and just generally losing interest. So now, I’ll hope into another game (disc or retail) or just watch stuff on Xbox.
I miss Bungie :frowning:

I’m not I’m just being realistic and not expecting something that won’t happen. Face it developer changes almost never work out for the better.

I’m a noob to HALO (got my 1st HALO game H4 in mid JAN) & already fed up with the lag, the JIP & now this CSR. If it continues I will not be coming back…
sorry what was that?
ah I think I can hear Skyrim calling my name

getting back into it since forge island

That’s my problem. It’s not that Halo 4 is bad, it’s just that I have better things to do, better games (like Bioshock) among them.

Inattention to the community? Listen, the game sucks, sure, but 343 has been spending all their time since launch trying to make it good.

That was like me and Reach. I had to force myself to play it and every time a couple of my friends asked me to join their game, I just wanted to break my disc in half because there was no desire to actually try. BPR is worse than the CSR we have now and I have no idea what went through Bungie’s mind when they decided that. Currently, Halo 4 is a slight improvement for me but it has features that I still dislike such as ordnance, customizable loadouts, camo and jetpack. I don’t think I will be playing it much after I hit 130, but it’s not torture to come back to it once and a while.

they spent 6 months on something that should of been in the game since the day they sold it. and they didnt even put it in the game you have to exit the game or go on the computer for it?

I feel good and enjoy it

Who couldn’t have seen it coming when they started announcing features? Every Halo 4 news reveal pre launch was just a list of CoD features they renamed. I knew the multiplayer would suck a half year before the game came out.

I now realize in hindsight how rushed this game was.

If only 343 was given some more time to fix/implement stuff before the game launched.

Amazing that a public Beta 6-8 months before launch would had fixed most of these
issues.

343, please learn from this and have a Halo 5 Beta, you could add entry with purchase of Halo 2 Anniversary which should release Nov 9 2014.

Overall, my personal opinion is Halo 4 is much improved on REACH, but far behind Halo 2/3.
