Part of the issue is that, due to the rarity and cost of these weapons/vehicles, it is a rare sight to see someone with Prophet’s Bane, or a regular Phaeton. Ever since the game’s launch I have encountered approximately five Phaetons in Warzone. Over 6 MONTHS. Does that look like an issue to you? I do have an idea on how that could be fixed. Maybe Warzone could be tweaked, so that energy recharges faster (though not Turbo levels). And the amount of each vehicle/weapon you have is essentially how many times you can pull out a power weapon/vehicle. REQs would be refunded at the end of the match. That way, Warzone would be much more interesting because people would be far more likely to use River of Light or something like that. And you wouldn’t have to worry about not having any Nornfangs forever until you get lucky in a Gold pack, because you have a supply of them. And maybe there could be a limit to how many of each weapon/vehicle you can have at one time.
Turbo was created for exactly the reasons you’re discussing in your thread.
I’m just fine with the progression place for regular Warzone.

i liked the old progression pace, warzone seems to progress so much slower now after the update.
also the thing is with rare weapons (i have prophets bane, SPNKR Prime, nornfang, ect. but i never use them because most of the time i use them i get killed by somebody with a normal Req. i would love to use my Reqs but i want to be able to use them. getting shot in the face with my prophets bane because my ally was sitting behind me or doing something else stupid gets annoying real fast.
I think my issue is that until I have 20 or so of the coolest REQs, no situation is special enough to risk using up that cool thing. As a completion player and a collector, pulling a River of Light and being sniped immediately is worse than not having it all and having to use normal loadout weapons.
Imagine if everyone had a SPNKR prime or nornfang. It’d be hell, these things are lethal.
Depending on ranks many players won’t have them, and if they do it won’t be many and they’ll pick a time to use them that suits them. On one hand it’s bad that the legendary reqs are only likely to be acquired by people who’ve played the game a lot, on the other they keep the game interesting for those who have.
And the river of light is awful, it’s truly worse than the standard incineration cannon.
I have a Nornfang. Only thing is, I’m afraid to use it because I feel that I’m going to get run over on accident by a teammate right after spawning it.
Ideally they should give us a Big Team Battle mode worthy of the name that has maps built with some of these weapons and vehicles in them. Particularly at least variations that are sufficiently different from their base versions, such as Blood of Suban, Void’s Tear and Ad Victoram, though really I think every version should be available to forge and subsequently make their way into BTB lists. And obviously Phaetons, as they don’t appear anywhere. It’s a shame the set up they’ve gone for to be honest with REQs and so on. There’s a mild pleasure in getting a phaeton card I suppose when it’s rare, but I’d have a lot more fun if there were maps and situations where I could use one and not be constantly worried about getting shot to ribbons because someone else happened to spawn Selene’s Lance at the same moment or whatever
It’s because they’re so rare we’re terrified of pulling them out and losing them near instantly with no kills to pay off for it. If I have 3 legendaries they’re not getting used until I have one or two more to spare unless in truly dire circumstances like having a Legendary RP boost or Victory Boost on the line.
They aren’t called “ultra rare” for nothing.
I have got two prophets banes, 2 nornfangs, 4 whispered truths(Had 5) and 4 CE pistols(had 5). I completely wasted a whispered truth. Used one CE pistol got 2 kills with it and game ended. I just don’t see the opportunities to use them. they will just get wasted and used on me. With the Nornfang you glow red which attracts everybody if you are on a rooftop. Nope, don’t want any of that. I would rather hold them and have them than to give them away because some guy in camo sneaks up on me.

I like this idea. Its too easy to just bring out your ultra rare/legendary weapon that you have been saving forever and be killed by some camper with a sniper rifle that you don’t see in spire/monument/garage/wherever else and it makes me hesitant to actually use any reqs that I have. I mean, if someone has the req, they should be able to use it, but not lose it if its legendary or ultra rare. The balance to remove people from using them nonstop if you didnt lose them anymore could be 1 legendary (or ultra rare)per match, and it be refunded after. It sounds dumb, but it could be a very smart way to make people use legendary/mythic weapons more. Other level reqs work like normal
You can’t of played warzone much. If you would of played it since launch you would be higher than lvl 54.
personally tend to see mythics often, I think this is because the game matches you against people with similar REQS, and since I have all of them I see other people with all of them.
also the numbers of mythics being used increased massively after the mythic REQ pack was released. I saw at least 3+ mythics a game.
lets just say I managed to kill some guy who was invisible with a nornfang with full ammo. And also a guy with a 70% prophets bane.
Best way to hunt prophets bane, always keep arclight charged! Or use the target tracker weapon mod in the new update.

I saw about 10 phaetons yesterday. I also sniped a guy using a nornfang on a noctus match twice, the first time with a binary rifle, the second with his first nornfang.
