Why people were so obsessed with no scopes/quick scopes and the sniping on small maps…just played reach and sniping on small maps was a nightmare,and if u ever hard scoped on cod,people would give u crap for it…a sniper is supposed to be scoped in and imo a decent sized map
Some people simply feel the opportunity to do so. Not recommended, obviously, but rewarding for those who can pull it off.

I think the biggest aspect of quick scope its like EZ kill mode. The game auto aims for you, and it does take some practice… Best is the 720 quick scope, just spin around like a moron and get a kill.
I dunno.My friends and I did not react like this when I hit this clip.I was like “Don’t hit that every month”.I just felt it was like stealing a kill with a pistol.
Kudos to the people who have a serious talent with the sniper and can make stellar shots, but I’ve never cared enough to try and go for it myself. I use the sniper as it was intended to, and am decent at it. Not great, but decent, which is fine by me.
My all time favorite moment in Halo was no scoping my buddy boosting a ghost across Coagulation from me, as I was falling out of a banshee on the far side of the map. GREATEST HALO MOMENT EVER! But I suck at the sniper it was all luck.
I’m really not good with snipers, so I find that people who can no scope like a boss simply impressive.
