I need to talk to someone at 343 about indie Publishing a short Halo story. I’m a indie writer, I write mostly horror and poetry, and I publish on Amazon through CreateSpace. Few years ago I wrote a Halo story about a lone Spartan on a unnamed UNSC ship that’s adrift. If I remember correctly, I asked before if I could publish the story, but with a major publisher. But since I’m technically a freelance writer, all royalties go to me. I do use references to the Halo universe like, the Cole Protocol, the Spartan Armor, specs of the Spartan armor, and even mention the Flood. I hope this gets somebody’s attention. I didn’t write it to make an extra buck, just wrote it because I love Halo and I love to write.

I’m not posting it till I work on it a little, it NEEDS editing.

I think you will have better chance to get an answer by posting this on other plateforms like the Halo facebook and Twitter pages, emailing 343 AND Microsoft, if you get a green light by any of two you are good to go so try with all Microsoft and 343 industries related.
Maybe you should try the Xbox support too, or ask Phil Spencer, because as head of Xbox (and he respond to several messages on twitter) he maybe can do something for you.
BUT you may need to give a pourcent to them because they own the rights of Halo and everything related to it.

I hope you will get an answer, and that you can be edited by someone to help you with your story because its great to see the community growing with creative people like you.
