so I’m trying to play a game of arena, and it says “at least one member in your fireteam is not permitted to play multiplayer games” well I don’t have a fireteam so does that mean that I’m not permitted? How do I get a permit? How do I get in a game with random players? Can somebody help?

It may seem like a silly question, but do you have a Gold account?

Yeah I bought and redeemed the gold card before trying

I don’t think so, because I haven’t played any online games yet and it doesn’t say “ban” it says “could not find a server suitable for all members of your fireteam” but I don’t know how to make a fireteam and that’s where I need help
If your not banned and have a good rep then try doing a hard reset start to your xbox. And make sure you do it correctly. Also if you have a modem and router power cycle them also. It may sound strange but when ever something isn’t working correctly a hard reset start to the xbox always seems to clear up my issues. Again when doing a hard reset start to your xbox you physically hold your finger on the power button on the xbox until it completely shuts off. Then unplug the power cord from behind the xbox. Let things set for a bit and plug it all back in. Power it back up and see what happens.
Also you have to make sure your Nat is set to Open. If its not the game may not function properly or not at all… If you have router you must go into your router and set your Nat to Open… And if you don’t want to Open your Nat then the only other option is to open ports in your router… If you have no idea how do any of these look it up on google… But try the above mentioned first and go from there… Good luck!
