I Need Sniper Help

I am looking to improve my aim with sniper rifles and beam rifles, any tips besides no hard scoping to find enemies?

Check out some videos by Proximity, Vetoed, Luke TheNotable, and a few others on YouTube. They’ve all got some great tips and gameplay. Other than that, just practice honestly. Customs are low-stress environments that allow you to get better against friends or others with the customs browser.

Playing an Octagon map with pistols and snipers helped my accuracy tremendously, too.

Thanks

I read the title, im here to help! ;D

A tip is try to predict what your enemy is going to do (this can be achieved through paying attention to there actions in game and reviewing them in theater) that way as you aim you can guess how they may swerve to dodge the shot.

I can predict reasonably well, but not enough in a sniper duel.

Use Nornfang

Do they still have team snipers out as a playlist? That could help out. Also, if you have any friends who are willing to practice with you, thats another thing that will help.

Competition is a great way to grow.

Doesn’t help, I can’t land shots that reliably.

Try the recruiting forum, someone there will probably help.

I will do that, just need a good map.

  1. Predict movements. Shoot where they are going to be has almost always gotten me a head shot kill. I usually aim just in front of their head.

  2. 2 shots…run away. The first shot will alert the enemy and they will begin looking for you. Second shot and they know where you are, so it’s best to move to a different spot. This tactic has saved me on multiple occasions.

  3. Don’t be a Thief. In the past when I see 2 snipers look at the same target 70% of the time they end up getting shot in the back. Usually they both want that kill but end up getting killed. Best to just watch his back so the enemy team doesn’t make a fool out of you both.

  4. Sensitive. A low sensitivity is best for range, and a higher sensitivity for close range.

  5. Aim small miss small. When you aim for the head sometimes you can miss by 3 meters. I usually aim for a small spot on the body or head and about 60% of the time it’s one shot one kill.
