In my File share, you’ll find a Firefight Game type labeled “Brutes” I was wanting to submit it to 343i for a possible Matchmaking Game type, however, If I’m going to do this, I’ll need your help. This has been a work in progress all year and has seen more adjustments than any other Game type I have made to date. I’ll break down the necessities for you.

SPARTAN SETTINGS:

SHIELDS AND HEALTH

  • Damage Resistance - 150%
  • Shield Multiplier - Normal
  • Shield Recharge Rate - 150%
  • Health Recharge Rate - 110%

WEAPONS AND DAMAGE

  • Damage Modifier - 125%
  • Melee Modifier - 125%
  • Infinite Ammo - Enabled

MOVEMENT

  • Player Speed - 120%
  • Jump Height - 125%

LOADOUTS

  • Scout: Assault Rifle, Magnum, Sprint, 4x Frag
  • Recon: DMR, Assault Rifle, Hologram, 2x Frag
  • Sharpshooter - Sniper Rifle, Magnum, Jet Pack, 2x Frag
  • Demolitions: Rocket Launcher, Grenade Launcher, Armor Lock, 4x Frag
  • Medic: Assault Rifle, Magnum, Drop Shield, 2x Frag

I’ve taken extra precautions and have set the Game Type up for versus as well (should it ever return to Matchmaking).

LOADOUTS

  • Warrior: Plasma Repeater, Plasma Pistol, Evade, 4x Plasma
  • Deceiver: Needle Rifle, Needler, Hologram, 2x Plasma
  • Ranger: Focus Rifle, plasma Pistol, Jet pack, 2x Plasma
  • Zealot: Energy Sword, Plasma Rifle, Active Camo, 2x Plasma
  • Champion: Fuel Rod Gun, Concussion Rifle, Armor Lock, 4x Plasma

Clearly the Elites have the speed and power advantage over the Spartans. However, Spartans have a higher Shield Recharge Rate to make up for it. They are also better equipped as well. Both species have unlimited lives and a five second respawn time to boot so you’d better select your loadouts fast.

Overall, the initial play testing was a huge help and I received positive feedback from my friends. However, I really want to know what you as the community think. There will be a grace period for feedback. As such, any and all feedback (positive or negative) would be greatly appreciated.
