Is this when you log into Halo Waypoint, or into your Xbox or something?

You should be able to simple Google search that error code and it’ll normally give the reason for that error code. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that on xbox error code list, but you can go to xbox.com and search their database to find out none the less.

Can you give us more info? Where is this happening?

Here is something to look at about not being able to Sign into the Xbox App. That’s the only 0x409 error code I could find.
