I need help with Reach!

I was playing my game the other day, and I’ve noticed that my friend has waaaaay cooler sound effects than me. He has the graphic choking sounds and other various sound effects upon death, and all I have is the aaaahhhh or the ooooiiiii sound. For example, he has the cool and unique DMR sounds and I have just plain gunfire. If anyone can give me a walk though on how to get those sounds or just a link would be fine, I’d appreciate it! If someone can be of assistance, it would make my Halo experience better!

I’ve heard of customized armor effects, but not custom weapon sounds. Your friend must have an advanced sound system for his television or something similar.

I do believe you get those sounds if you play the game with a hard drive for your Xbox, if you do not have a hard drive then you will not get those sounds (and I think a lot of other things like firefight voices for many more actions in firefight games too).

yeah I’m pretty sure you need it on the hard drive I have that cool choking sound it’s brutal!
