So i have a question to ask all you smart people out there, so here goes.
If i go offline and download the base game of Halo 5, then i go online to download the Multiplayer patch, can i play campaign while the patch is downloading or not?
Hopefully you smart people can answer this question!

I doubt it, on other games you can’t update whilst playing. You might be able to play campaign if your Xbox is offline then update separately afterwards.
Actually a lot of games now will start downloading and tell you when the campaign is playable even though the download is only 30% complete. so I could see this being possible. dont know for sure tho, sry

It works with initial installs, so you can play the campaign whilst multiplayer installs. I believe patches are different.
Yes but I don’t think that works with patches and updates, only initial installs… though I may be mistaken
