I need help on becoming a Halo 4 ninja

Because I had been playing halo since 2, I’d abandon my old ways and take it to the next level. So when I explored and learned things, I adjusted to achieve this. Just one problem though, I’m trying to find out just the right moment and time to ninja them. It was not easy. However, I’ve done this 6 times successfully but I attempted it 22 times. Mostly I got too far with my thruster pack, others too close. Sometimes I’m low enough for them to melee me. Also, I am encountering players with very near or at MLG level. And I am not prepared for that yet. I used to be on the top of my game, but now I’m falling.

So can someone who is a halo ninja tell me how to fix this? I’m facing players with K/D ratios .3 higher than mine (1.39 I am)?

Or is it better to do it the old way?

Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.

Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

Nice advice. But I would like it if someone tutors/teaches me how to fix it. I do adjust to a battle, but I’m confused how I am to know to right the range, timed with the player’s movement to successfully perform an assassination like a ninja.

I think I should naturally know the right time, like me knowing when to press the trigger in griffball. But it’s getting slow, and I would like to get some advice or training to quicken the process.

Thruster pack and some very odd movements. Psychology works well in these situations.
I used to be a beast at Ninja’ing in Reach, but not so much for Halo 4. Though I can pull off a few if i really want to, I can’t get Triple and Overs with it anymore.

Yes, that is the kind I am trying to do. But at the same time I want
to learn the “old” way, by jumping right in their face and doing an assassination. And what’s a triple and over? I also want to learn more ways to ninja.

As someone who played an entire team snipers game yesterday and went 22-6 with nothing but his fist and his jumping and ninjaing who ninjas on a regular basis, I’ll help.

Okay, that may have sounded a bit braggy… Regardless, I’ll help if you’d like.

Yes, I would want some help.

go with the flow man just imagine whats going to happen and when your going to thruster as soon as you get behind them ninja them that will give them less time to kill you and if it fails dont worry just keep trying and one day youll become a ninja

and if you want join me and CreepersTMs clan crcp

Ninja’ing shouldn’t be done just for ninja’ing sakes. Ninja’ing is about seizing the moment, taking the opportunity. It’s about knowing when to strike.

Its also about positioning. The ninja can not just ninja wherever he likes for he might be seen. If you are seen ninja’ing you will be stopped in your tracks. I see so many people trying to ninja and I just hit them in the back. Use corners where sight can be blocked to disguise your ninja. Make them chase you in to thinking they have you dead. When they run round and look for the kill, you will already be behind them.

Remember, elevated ground will always give the ninja the advantage. Playing slayer pro where there is no radar will help disguise your ninja further. I have not tried using thruster pack for ninja’ing so much. If anything it doesn’t really come across as stealthy and will not gain many kills on those with a trained eye.

Hope this helps!

Ninjas should only be done as your last option to live and it should only be done when least expected. Ninjaing was something people tried to do with players having “Over shield” in Halo 3, as they were invincible for a few seconds, it was their only chance to survive.

I was watching HAL0NINJAS and noticed that almost every time they ninja’ed they had elevated ground. This will help because when you jump behind them they won’t be able to melee you in the air. Also you can use a hologram to ninja too.

A lot of times when they are coming behind you, you can sidestep and thruster pack at the same time, and youll slip right behind them. Besides that, its all about knowing how close they are when you look at you radar.

if the enemy is charging you wait til your almost in melee range be sure too look over your enemies head or the aim assist will stop you, but as soon as you jump start turning 180 and punch while your still in the air. i have a few on youtube if u want to see

make sure not to sprint and jump up close or you will fly far from them. I also have trouble with ninjaing them. I use sensitivity 3
