Hello everyone. I live on the east coast and I was hit by hurricane sandy. I didn’t lose my house or anything just that I had no power or internet. I got power back the day halo 4 came out and I beat the very next day on legendary solo. So today I got my internet back and notice its telling me that I didn’t start the campaign which I did beat it offline so is there a way this can be fixed cause its annoying me that now I can’t get the mrk 5 armor for beating it solo when I did. I beat it on november 7th at 5:53pm EST I know this cause I sent my friend a text as soon as I beat the last mission if someone from 343 can reply to this and help me out that would be amazing cause it didn’t even update on halo waypoint I’m not in the mood to replay the story solo again just to get it to notice when I DID beat it. I have the achievements unlocked they can see them when they look at my tag. If i can get a reply tonight that be awesome thanks.

Edit: Also I found 2 terminals OFFLINE as well and it notice those.
Your best bet is to just complete it again online.
Consider the setup to be for Halo players and not casual players.
Unfortunately a few, yet still many, players lost connections during playthroughs or just didn’t realise that many of H4’s extra goodies are XBL enabled (mandatory).
Many security issues can be bypassed offline for use later online. The best way to ensure this doesn’t happen is currently as is, be online to register proper completion.
The needs of the many out weight the needs of the few, or the 1. And in this case, it’s about ensuring players don’t cheat to get what Halo lovers will passionately strive for.
There is also a bit of an understanding that you will beat the game again if you love it so much (just maybe not right away). I know I was ticked but had to replay the 5th level, one I do not like certain sections for due to the AI… Not quite the same as the whole game, but believe me, I am anxious to play it again and with co-op.

I didn’t cheat I had NO INTERNET and I played the game offline. If your going to say I cheated why would I buy the game? I love Halo I have played them all and beat them all I have every achievement in halo 3,ODST and Reach and most in Halo Wars. There are others who are complaining to and asking for a patch that people who did complete solo get the armor. I can give you the day and the time I beat the game at and same with most of my achievements that don’t have a date on them.
