I watched the HaloFollower video about this and Chris said it would be Free for Gold members for a week starting next wednesday but when I see an update somewhere else, it says it will only be Free to Play for a week starting next wednesday. So will it be a case of I get it for free and i trade in my physical copy or it’s just one of those free play days that xbox do these days?
Is that mean you can keep the game permanently once you download it for free next week? Or is it just you can play only during free to play week or whatever it is?

You will have June 29th-July 5th to download the game and play for free. After this, while you may still have the game downloaded to your system, you will still need to buy the rights to play it.

You can only play it for free from June 29 to July 5. You must purchase the game to play outside of this time frame.

No for the first question. You can play the game for free within that specific time period, but after that week, you have to purchase the game to play it again. Notice that it’s the “Free Play Days” program, NOT the “Games for Gold” program.
Free to play during that time if you don’t already own it…you don’t get to keep your “free” copy. Basically a trial or demo for people who have not tried it yet.
