I need advice. No idea where to post this?

Sorry I have no idea where to post this? So will try here.

I’m on the fence about the Halo 4 console. I have the Reach console but honestly its never worked right.

Main issue is the wireless. The controllers go crazy for no reason and the wireless mic is super crazy (all are Microsoft brands). When I sit on the couch it crackles and loses connection. This is when I sit in front of the TV on the couch. When I go into the kitchen it works just fine – the kitchen is in another room. So that rules out any line of sight tech issues. Paid $100 to Microsoft to fix and nothing was fixed. Asked what they fixed and they refused to tell me. But they did not refuse taking my $100.

So does anyone know if the Halo 4 console has any “tech” upgrades or changes compared with the Reach console? If so please let me know what changes there are?

Will help in my decision to get, or not get the Halo 4 console.

Thanks!

Other than being the new slim console as opposed to the reach fat body? Couldn’t tell you, I know I’ve never had an issue out of my slim

Sounds like your problem is more to do with your copy, rather than the actual product. It’s just faulty.

I’m not going to tell you what to do with your money, because it’s yours. If you think it’s worth it, get it. If you don’t think so, then don’t.

Yea, that was my view as well but was not sure. Wondered if others had issues too?

What really angers me to no end is that Microsoft bacially took $100 from me, did not fix the issue, then refused to say what they fixed (which I think was nothing). Then to go about and say “we can not say due to security and confidentiality”.

What? Really? Oooooook? Its my console, I paid for it, I paid for the “repairs”. Ooooooook?

To me, that is not a proper way to do business.

If could not fix, then do not charge me. Its like a double whammy: faulty product, charge for a repair that never happened on a faulty product. : (

hmmm, you should trade it all in for the Halo 4 console. gamestop is doing a double in-store credit when you trade in any system. Also, when you trade any games in toward halo 4 you get 30% more credit. could look into it, its your call in the end
