I have the downloadable Recon helmety & I always wear it, but now it’s not in my armory & I can’t wear it. You wanna explain this -Yoink- to me?
Go to your guide button, hit recent downloads and re download. If not, not sure unless you’re not connected to live which in that case you would need to be for DLC armour stuff to work.

But I’m on lunch, so I’ll answer your question.
You might try going into your console settings and clearing the system cache of your hard drive. Then go into your download history and re-download the recon helmet, and it should appear in the armory.

You can only use the recon code on one xbox. Then, everyone playing on that xbox (excluding guests and temp profiles) gets recon. However, you can’t use it on another xbox. Meaning that if you put the code into Xbox 360 A, everyone on Xbox A gets the recon helmet. However, if you download your account to Xbox 360 B, who DOESN’T have a recon code, everyone who previously had recon on Xbox A, will NOT have recon on Xbox B. Same goes for map packs.

Unless you are using the same profile with which you originally redeemed the code.
If I redeem a recon code using my profile, I can use re-download that recon file onto any xbox and use it, as long as I’m using my same profile. Other users of that console won’t be able to use it.
OP, if you downloaded the recon helmet to your MrCoolGuy100 profile, you will always be able to use it on your MrCoolGuy100 profile (and if you move to a different xbox, only that profile). Just clear your hard drive cache and re-download it from your purchase history.
