I Mute my TV and Xbox One when i play Halo 5

This my reason why i don’t have my sound on when playing Halo 5.

I didn’t like the sound of Halo 5 opening music when loading a game, Spartan Sarah Palmer talking which make me want kill my self to hear her talking about crap i don’t want hear when playing a game in warzone, player playing crap rap music at full volume in the headset, a 10 year old player crying about crap i don’t want hear when i am playing a game that get me kill, player having xbox one kinect on so i am hearing other sound in the back ground like dog barking or player friends also family member talking in back ground and last miss the old sound from Halo 4 and Reach multiplayer sound effect when playing a game. So the next time you play a halo 5 warzone and you see my name i have my tv and my xbox one on mute. Don’t get mad at me not having my headset on and talking to you to helping you out to win the game. I just want to play Halo 5 and have fun with out the bs.

P.S Oh i found out that you can turn off “Maintain Sprint” in Halo 5 in the settings controller right next to audio / video settings for anyone who don’t like using full Sprint when playing a game in Halo 5.

I’m pretty sure you can turn down most of that in Settings without having to mute the actual TV, including Sarah Palmer. That’s what I do when I’m playing background music on the XB1.

I mean muting the whole system itself puts you at a disadvantage because you’re could be missing important cues going on around you.

I never had a problem with playing a game in Halo 5 without sound in fact i play better without sound in Halo 5 so i am not at a disadvantage.

Hearing Palmer say “West Armory Captured” or saying “Jul 'Mdama in the Temple” makes you want to kill yourself?

Right…

I don’t play Warzone or Warzone Assault any more becuase of team try-hard farming for commendations and having random noob on my team that don’t know what to do when be farm to dead by well oils try-hard on the other team. So i only play Warzone Firefight and Grifball now in Halo 5.

I don’t care about what Spartan Palmer say because it not important to me when playing Halo 5 Warzone now.

Check my stat in my profile on what i play in Halo 5 and you will see i play mostly Warzone Firefight and Grifball.

And the reason for this post? I don’t really see the constructive part of it. You can mute voice and music in the game while still keeping sound effects on (gunfire, explosions, etc).

You feel the need to tell us why?

I May have some solutions to your problems

The Palmer issue: way I see it you have three options; deal with it, quit playing, or you can take the latter

Public lobby chatter: mute, or sit in party chat alone.

I’m not trying to discourage you from playing the game or bash, but if you really only play this game for ff and grifball, you’re going to get bored fast. You’re missing out on the rest of the game. And if Palmer is really that big of an issue, you may want to file a complaint to bungie.
