I missed the general feel of the original trilogy’s soundtrack. It was epic and orchestral and made every moment accompanied by it feel significant. To this day I get chills during the final Warthog run on “Halo”.
Halo 4’s soundtrack was different. It was more nuanced and atmospheric, and while that is not necessarily bad (see: Halo 3 ODST), it simply did not contain the power that the original trilogy did.
In regards to your question, there isn’t really a single track that I would want in the next Halo. The original trilogy is over. Give me a few familiar leitmotifs and try to emulate the feel of the old sound and I’ll be a happy player.
I really missed the Original Halo Theme in Halo 4! They haven’t had it in a Halo game for like 6 years now!! I really hope 343 put it in the next Halo - a Halo game (with Master Chief) without the Halo theme doesn’t feel right :,(
Halo was known for its music though out the gaming world. We haven’t had that iconic music since Halo 3.

I liked the cinematic music in this game they could still have made the theme song playing at some more leveles like the one when they showed the halo ring.

Never forget was in Halo 4
The original Halo theme, that was in every major Halo game. I know it’s a new trilogy but the classic theme is what got us hyped to begin with, I don’t mind them trying new music but they should have at least kept the main track. It be like taking away the main theme from James Bond or changing the soundtrack from Doctor Who. The theme was iconic, to me the music in Halo 4 wasn’t memorable to me, I’m hoping they can do something with that in Halo 5.
