I missed the good ol' (recent) days with M&KB

Yeah, I am one of those guys who was really disapointed when they enabled controller and aim assist.

I played Halo since Halo Combat Evolved, I modded it on Custom Edition and Trial, and it is for me my favorite game. So, imagine when they released it on PC : is it my birthday or something ?
I played a lot of hours in single and multiplayer, almost had good scores in every game, with M&KB. But one day I was invited to a flight, for Halo 4 ? i don’t remember. Everyone playing with sniper (one of my favorite multiplayer gamemode). And then, nothing. Can"t move, can’t hit, can’t kill. 2 kills on a game. Am I bad today ? Let’s try again. And again. And… what the heck?

I left Halo MCC for 1 year after they released this patch, because it ruined the multiplayer on PC.
So yes, we can filter the game by plateform and/or by input device, but guys, I can’t wait 3hours between everygame.
I tried again yesterday, and it was still a mess.

I kept it for too long, this is what I think about multiplayer. I love Halo, but I am so sad that there is no way they will nerf controller on PC.
And no, I don’t want to play with a controller too.

Cya, and I hope I will enjoy Halo Infinite as I enjoyed Halo MCC back the good ol’ days.

From what I’ve seen and been told by PC players, snipers handle significantly better on MKB. You can still hit up the customs game browser if you want some multiplayer fun.

With long range distance, yes, M&KB is significantly better, for every weapons. But Halo is a mid-short range game, and that’s why (from my point of view) aim assist ruined it all.
Maybe enable it for mouse too ? :stuck_out_tongue:
