The fact of the matter is, this is a game designed for console. Always has been. There will most likely never be parity between the two. As it stands, the AA on console has already been completely neutered compared to previous iterations of the game to where it feels totally foreign.
Majority of the community is arguably casual. So things like what the pro players are doing, are kind of moot. No one really cares about that.
We want Halo to feel like Halo again, and if they keep pushing and taking away from the console experience, we’re all just going to go back to Halo 5 or MCC (Those of us that haven’t already.) Then you’re still stuck with the same issue of not having people to populate playlists even with crossplay enabled.
Here’s one key difference between me and most of you people here. I don’t favor MnK and I don’t favor controller. I play with both inputs. The ones defending controller are the ones who natively play with controller. That holds a lot of truth in this discussion.
And there we have. Your bias perceives it as an advantage and the facts you are using to back up are not facts you missed the point.
Do you accept that the playstyles are different between mnk and controller.
Because a game is on a specific platform doesn’t mean it was made to be. Would you say diablo was made for console market or would you say its a pc game that has been brought to console
There are no facts to support you advantage claim just what you feel. Personally they both hold different advantages that lend to games being a mess. Mnk will keep distance controller needs to rush.
I answered your questions with valid explanations but you only want to pick what you want to pick on.
MnK is a RAW input, do you understand that? Do you know what that means? How could anybody accept a “nerf”, which being a RAW input is more of a handicap to MnK in the games current state when controller is already at an advantage?
If you want to get technical, Halo CE launched on PC in 2003. So Halo has seen the PC side for almost 20 years.
Controller is an advantage, it’s just a fact that you will not accept for whatever reason. Tons of info back this up, tons of stats back this up, tons of videos on YouTube from eSport/pro players back this up. Tons of videos of actual MnK players switching over to controller back this up.
Weird how there’s really no info, stats or videos of a native controller player trying out MnK…
IF they nerfed MnK it would be handicapping MnK. In order to nerk MnK, they would have to take away from the RAW input, which would then be handicapping it. Why do I have to explain everything to you? Can’t you think for yourself?
No playstyle leads from the input quick flicks and rotations are inherent to MnK as it allows. Yes preference come into play but the mechanics of playstyle originate from what the device allows
This entire paragraph is wrong. There are various to hurt a mouse and you, most certainly, didn’t explain yourself in a clear manner.
That’s not my fault. Go retake grammar class. You said Raw Input was a disadvantage. You didn’t say anything about nerfing mice or raw input.
Do you know anything about mice? Why would you nerf its tracking functionality when it’s offering no benefits? I know you can’t nerf the mouse directly. I was saying IF it posed a threat to balance, would you accept it?
You answered no so I went into my next point. I was pointing out that I’m not defending controller just because of its benefits.
