The SAW is a pretty fun weapon, but they removed ordinance drops for making Halo 4 on the 360 incredibly unbalanced. That’s why they weren’t in the MCC version of Halo 4. Maybe they could bring it back as a power weapon on the map, like they do with the sniper rifle or plasma caster, that way you can pick up, instead of calling in as a drop. That helps promote map-control instead of just bringing that stuff straight to you, which makes the gameplay more chaotic and random instead of focusing on team work.
I loved those close 49-49 H4 games that I lost because some guy called in a SAW and spammed bullets until something died. /s
The SMG is way more fun than the SAW anyways.
