I miss the original customization

after spending money to unlock a paint color I got mad at myself…and maybe 343i. Myself for not having the patiences to work towards the 160 some odd days of the season to get the color scheme that I want (I am a parent to two kids, a husband, and have a very busy job…so game time is very limited for me). And 343i for coming up with this predatory monetization system.

There should have been more color pallets available out of the box for users to choose from versus what was available…and it shouldn’t have been half -Yoink!-. Since Halo 2 (or 3) users were able to choose multiple colors to make a unique color schemes for their characters…Halo Infinite should have never done away with this.

As far as armor or skin goes I think Halo 3 and Halo 4 had the better ways of unlocking armor. The Battle Pass should have had armor super unique armor that would be worth the grind…or money (I dont judge), not armor that should have been available from the get go.

Again I think the multiplayer is great…but 343i needs to make some serious changes, even if it keeps the BETA name for the next couple of months.

I just don’t understand why they didn’t allow people to customize their Spartan colours freely & have coatings be the premium option in the store with cool patterns.

Of course, the answer is money, but it would’ve been the best compromise.

There were way better systems they could have chosen to go with, but ultimately went with this one. Gameplay is important, but people like to earn things and few people appreciate being given an intentionally worse experience just because they don’t want to plop down additional cash to skip the grind.
