I legitimately miss the old weapons…
I was watching a YouTube* video that went into a possibility of why many guns were taken out, and to sum it up the pvp community…
**To me Halo has never been about the PvP rather the co-op modes. Now the PvP is equally important, but weapons themselves (not the balance) should not be left up to the pvp community.
Example: Spartan Laser. No issue within the campaign, but within the PvP community “oh it one shots, why do we have this”. There is no issue with it one shotting.
*(Example: The video talked about if we had a BR why do we need a Carbine or DMR.) We should still have those as options, I don’t care if the DMR and BR are the same in some ways.)
The weapons are part of the story. They tell a portion of it. Now in all fairness I can understand the Banished’s weapons but would still like a bigger selection. I would have also liked more humans items to have returned.
**To expand on this, I am a PvPer. I love PvP, I think some stuff need some serious tuning. However to say, “this weapon doesn’t belong in pvp” is stupid concept in Halo.
