Not unless some intrepid Forger put one together.
Highlands was possibly my most favorite map from Reach, and it’s easily in my top 10 maps from any Halo title.
It was such a shame that the pay-for-maps model meant it couldn’t be enjoyed by all Halo gamers.
Seriously, maps need to be free for Halo. Stop charging us for them, especially when you charge us for the good ones. It splinters the population and frustrates the fan base more than anything else. /rant haha.
Highlands could probably fit halo 4’s gamestyle’e very well. Except no falcons!!!
and Ridgeline, and Boneyard, and…
the problem is they are not ultra symmetrical, and the Pro-level people making decisions on maps don’t seem to like those very much.
The whole thing is that retro maps are usually a huge hit - in addition to the ones like Shutout, I have played customs on clones of Sword Base, Countdown, and a couple of others…

I strongly endorse that maps for their design philosophy. They would have been a great fit for Halo 4 - large, but not crowded, and always interesting.
Symmetric maps are getting old for me. I still think they can be fun if done right. They’re just too bland and boring. They worked well in past Halos, and they can still work well with Halo 4 and beyond… but the appeal is fading here.
Broadly speaking though, I find ultra symmetry works well on small to medium sized maps. Anything larger than, say, Pit, is too big to be symmetric IMHO. But I totally embrace asymmetric maps for the variety of encounters and tactics they encourage.

and breakneck…gosh i loved anniversary btb back in reach, those maps in h4 would be awesome!! but it wont happen unfortunately
Highlands was an amazing map.
Rig up some of the most notable elements on the largest of the three “anvils” on Forge Island.
I am glad some people share my love of the HIghlands!

I forget now, were there falcons defaulting on this map? I think I would like to see some Mecha on Mecha action going on …Mantis FTW! No?
I would much rather have the SpOps maps being put into WarGames/Forge. Lots of Machinima opportunities would open up, along with a couple decent BTB maps: Quarry, Cauldron (it’s actually a big map, really), Lockup, Warrens, APEX.
Fortress, Refuge, and Harvester would make amazing 4v4/5v5 maps. Control would be great for Team Snipers.
As for Sniper Alley… well, Dominion/1F CTF, I guess? That map would more or less be just for machinima. It’s not really made for competitive games, at least not in comparison to the other SpOps maps.
