It was the first 360 game that I got and it made me fall in love with this rich franchise. If all my homeworks where done and had nothing else to do I immediately put the halo 4 disk on the xbox and play hours upon hours of it. I literally cried at the end of the campaign without knowing completely who the hell these characters are. I played a lot with one friend who I still play with to this day (but it’s usually destiny now but we sometimes play halo 5). When I go to school me and my friend always discussed something halo 4 related and we always made plans to play the most recent episode of spartan ops and we had a blast playing it. The specialization aren’t anything special (no pun intended) now but I remembered when I first reached SR50 and I remeber that the first one that I picked was pioneer. I remember when they announced the champions bundle and how I had to literally beg my parents to buy me Microsoft points (holy -Yoink- I completely forgot about Microsoft points until now) so that I can buy the bundle so that I can get that cool salvage skin for my br and the trauma and teeth skin for my br. I remember downloading halowaypoint just so that I can see the cool terminals and get the hidden codes that give me XP and that oh so sweet Raider armor. Oh how I miss those days. Also the main menu music always makes me cry.
Sadly though halo 5 is not repeating any of these feelings other than getting excited for the new content drop but then again, they’re stuff that should’ve been at launch. Yeah I might get excited once I get that one REQ that really wanted but it doesn’t match the ones that I mentioned with halo 4.

That’s lovely and all, very nice to see people enjoyed Halo 4 so much, so did I, but this is the life cycle of game series, new ones come out old ones die out. Some people like Halo 5 some people don’t, that’s it.

I have played all of them minus hw1. Halo 4 made me fall in love with the franchise that I wanted all the halo games so I got them and that’s what let me to make the decision of buying the Xbox one so that can finally have all the halo games because I was only missing h2.
At least you played through them. That’s as good as it’ll get for you in the way of the older Halo’s. You can’t really fully appreciate them unless you played them when they came out and you were a part of all the hype surrounding the games. Better late than never though
Sorry you missed out on the golden era of halo halo 2. Halo 4 is not a halo game in my eyes. I played halo CE when I was 8 when it came out 
I saw the birth of Xbox live and all its growing pains. Sorry you played the call of duty clone as your first. I know my kid if I ever have one will start with the first.

Don’t put words in my mouth. I have NEVER defended armor abilities, loadouts, or killstreaks. I don’t blindly defend either. You’re telling me it’s bad that I started in halo 4 yet I CLEARLY stated that Halo 2 is my favorite halo game. I love halo 4’s campaign and I think the multiplayer is ok and fun at times but it is ranked very low multiplayer wise. What standards am I lacking? I can say what standards that you lack. You lack the ability to exept that people actually love halo 4.

halo 4 is like star wars episode 1 and 2 combined. i hate both those movies.

What do you mean by minus halo 3? have you not played it, or just not like it?
I started out with Reach, so when I got Halo 4 I was all like, “Master Chief, who’s this?” But then again, I paid no attention to the campaign storyline in my first playthroughs of each game. After finding out about the lore of Halo, I was hooked to one of the greatest FPS Franchise’s of all time.

This is my opinion, I’m not trying to trigger any COD fans.
