I miss equipment in general. Sadly, armour abilities are what equipment has evolved into

Miss it too. :frowning:

same here. radar jammer was fun just toss it on the ground lol

Bubble shield became armor lock which became hardlight shield.
I too miss equipment rather than armor abilities.

Remember the portable gravity lift? Before everyone could just jetpack to wherever they wanted to go?

Bubble Shield became Drop Shield  Which became Regeneration Field, I’d love the Drop Shield back

Well it was not that pain in the -Yoink- you could still walk into the sheild.

Or drive through it with a Ghost. evil grin

Bubble shield became armour lock which became hard light shield. Bubble shield and regen from Halo 3 had babies which grew up to become drop shield and regen field (in halo 4).

No one likes Jet pack so Jet pack is all alone. Active Camo tried hard to change himself so people will still like him but he is still the same ol’ loner.

Evade got some snazzy new lights and became thruster pack.

Portable gravity lift was beast, it’s my favourite equipment.

The original get out of jail free card.

> The original get out of jail free card.

The original get out of free card, was Armor lock, as it could negate a stuck grenade, something the Bubble shield could never do.

I don’t feel like the bubble shield would work well with halo 4. It only worked ok in Reach because it healed Reach’s body health feature and because armor lock was so much worse in comparison

Actually, I think that the Bubble shield would balance out some of the Jetpack spraying spammers.

> The original get out of jail free card.

These were on map though and could only be used once.

haha yeah that were fun remembers moongose splatter

Not really, people would sit in bubble shield so walk up to them and stick them.

Lead to a lot of easy double and triple kills because enemy team members would approach the shield for protection as well.

If the Jetpack was like the Brute’s jump packs in Halo 3 than it would’ve been more like the gravity lift. Now that wouldn’t be nearly as bad as it was with people flying up into the air and shooting down at everyone.

Active Camo worked better when it was an equipment piece in Halo 3’s campaign. You could only used it once, but it lasted longer than the 5 seconds it did in Halo 2.

Trip Mines and Deployable Shields were place able in the middle of a game, it felt like you were fortifying your base and setting up traps like an actual soldier. Now you can only set up mines and shields in Forge mode, which sucks.

Invincibility was pretty much like AL except you could only use it once, and they weren’t crazy enough to put it in Halo 3’s multiplayer.

Halo 3’s Autosentry actual got better in Halo 4 since you could use it in multiplayer, and use it multiple times since it was really easy to counter and hard to set up properly.

Halo 3’s Regeneration kinda got better in Halo 4 because it no longer makes you invincible, but it also feels like it doesn’t do anything at all.

And the Bubble Shield, Power Drain, Radar Jammer, and Flare. My goodness, those things were awesome and amazing when used properly.

I don’t want a balance to the jetpack, I want the jetpack removed completely with no compromises. It doesn’t belong in a halo game

I know what you mean, yesterday on Scythe, a jetpack-er got to the top of one of the map walls, and spawn killed me.
