What happened to the 1-50 Ranking System? Is it really gone because people made money off selling high ranks? If this is true that’s pretty ridiculous. It’s keeps players interested, makes games more intense, and more accurately shows the true skill of the player (some might disagree). Now you rank up no matter what. High ranks don’t represent skill anymore, it just shows who plays the game more often. Thoughts?

I hear you bro I miss em too. They were my drive to play Halo multiplayer! I salute the CSR attempt I think it’s cool competition but nothing beats the blood, sweat, and tears that came along with in game ranks.

343i knows how to deliver now that their feet are wet, and they will deliver, or Halo is going to be in even worse shape.

That doesn’t guarantee in game ranks will be back. We know next to nothing about the next game. Making grand, sweeping statements is a good way to get caught with egg on your face.
I miss them as well. I’ve been hoping for a mix between Halo 2 and Halo 3’s ranking systems for years now. As the ranks disappeared, so too did much of the Halo population. If 343i brings back ranks, they will bring back a solid chunk of the Halo fans.
I definitely meant in-game ranking. Oh well, I just hope it gets brought back at some point.
