You know. I can honestly say I miss Halo 2 with a great passion. The simplicity of it was golden, the story was beautiful and captivating. Hell I remember the only way to avoid getting shot in PVP was to either jump or -Yoink!- repeatedly in hopes that you can get the kill or avoid being the victim. Halo 2 will always have a special with me in the long run because for me that game is what made me a Halo fan even tho Halo CE was a hell of a game too, but. I do hope 343 gets back into the old style of Halo while putting their own lil flare into it like they did with Halo 5 cause its all riding on them now.
I feel ya. I still remember playing Halo 2 over Xbox Live. Something people will never get to experience again. (and no, the MCC dosent count because it never works).

The closest I can get to my OG XBOX with HALO 2 is on MCC (which is not a broken game for me)!
But I miss playing campaign and seeing that loading screen and hearing it’s music as the next campaign level is prepared. As well as the bulky controllers and LAN parties with my grade school pals. HALO 5 though, it gives me the HALO 2 vibes for some reason (especially the HALO 2 BR T-T)

Halo 2 was so good. The friends I made on Halo 2 back in 06 are still my friends to this day
Halo 2 will forever be my all time, most favorite Halo ever with the best memories I’ve had with my best friends.
