After Halo Reach…Halo Anniversary…and now Halo 4…
I am really starting to miss playing on earth like in Halo 2, 3 and in ODST.
Fighting on earth in halo is a totally different feeling and atmosphere
than fighting on the rings or on a forerunner world. It seems more tactical,
tense and more aggresive fighting on our own planet.
I wish we could have a new Halo game in future that takes us back to earth!
that would be awesome… Hopefully in this new trilogy, or a game in-between the
sequels, there will be a title like ODST where we could play on earth!
Man…I miss earth so much…I cant handle this anymore… inserts halo 2 into disc tray :’(

I think they should keep battles on Earth limited to a minimum. Too much of that and you risk losing the dramatic effect of bad guys being on humanities homeworld.
For example - When the Didact’s ship comes out of slip-space I audibly went “-Yoink!-, is that Earth?”

you got surprised when you saw earth? even though you spent alot of time fighting covenent on earth during Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST? lol…i see.

I guess I just wasn’t expecting Totally-Not-Saren-From-Mass-Effect taking his big gun to Earth right away (figured that would be sequel stuff).
