Just saying that I miss the scoring system in campaign. It was fun to go through the medals after a mission. Also every now and then it was cool to compare scores and medals with your co op buddies. It was a nice way to digest what had happened and how you did. It seems like Bungie was much more focused on giving us access to such stats. Also I am finding it dificult to get to the information I want about my play experiences even in war games and spartan ops. Although maybe I am just not used to the way 343 organizes the information.
Oh so you want requests for updates 343? I want campaign scoring back in please. Also would be nice to have had skulls that you needed to look for but that can not be changed. Thanks in advance and to the rest of you DISCUSS: Campaign scoring

dude, i totally agree. scoring made playng campaign like 800x more fun to play. and its not like it HAS to be on. in reach it was an option. and the terminals are cool and all with the waypoint connection but finding skulls is a classic i and many others felt deprived of in reach. kinda a let down to not have it this one but thats just a minor gripe.
Maybe it will make an appearance. I’d like scoring back myself. Although I’m not exactly going to throw a tantrum if it can’t be done.
And the whole chief clone thing, well he has the highest res model, the multiplayer models aren’t up to snuff compared to chief. and even if they were, you can thank the overly vocal Reach complainers hating on the game for that game direction.
i know its about chief and cortana and everything but damn those 2 are getting boring. Just let us use our spartans from multiplayer like reach, they don’t need to put them in cut scenes or anything just let em run around.
Used to love taking snapshots in theater of my mates doing stupid things, but now its just chiefs
Honestly, I think its in the game, just not visual. Let me drop some facts on ya.
Spartan Ops and Campaign run on the same mechanics, i.e. the way armor abilities work, loading, etc.
It can be assumed Spartan Ops = Campaign, just not with Master Chief.
After a game of Spartan Ops, you can check your score and see your kills, and most importantly, your biggest kill. Here’s the kicker: it shows a point value for that biggest kill.
So? What’s my point? Scoring is already in the game, they are probably planning to add it and make it visual down the line. Remember, most of the game (aside from campaign) is simply installed therefore they can make major updates. I would expect Spartan Ops to support scoring in the future.
I agree. I hope they bring scoring back to campaign, as well as add it to Spartan Ops. I feel like, for me, the lack of scoring will severely affect replay value for both of these modes.
I am personally hoping that they will add it in an update. Maybe they just didn’t want it to get in the way of the first campaign experience. It really is a nice thing to have, and I have expected it since halo 3 first introduced it. Heck I was thinking they would have it in anniversery.
I thought it made post-completion playthroughs a lot more fun. Plus I liked the fact that when I scored a headshot or multi-kill I had instant feedback that I had done so.
Being able to confirm the kill was too valuable to leave out. I hope campaign scoring comes in a future update it was also way better getting a carnage report at the end of a mission and then being able to quit from that screen instead of automatically going into the next mission.
