Been around long enough to comfortably call myself a vet and meanwhile I’m seeing people that JUST signed up for the insider program get their flight emails… I know there’s still time but it’s looking spooky. I’ll still support and follow those I know that have gotten into the flight but it definitely feels like they’re forgetting some of us who’ve been loyal.
yeah i convinced one of my friends to last minute update their insider profile and they got one. I’ve gotten invited to virtually every single MCC flight and didn’t get an invite for Infinite which sucks. Do you know if all the emails are done being sent out for this wave?
I hear that they’re still sending them out but like you I’ve been in the last 4 flights and for THIS to be the one that some of us don’t get is a little bit upsetting.
Read the sticky PSA. I understand it is upsetting of course. All I know is that emails are sent but it takes time to receive. Also check your spam/unwanted folders etc. I guess you already have done that but yeah. Good luck!
they also said they wanted a wide variety of systems and specs in the blog so it might be the case since they are optimising for xbox one / series and multiple PC configs.
There are other reasons for getting chosen. Before tenure they say the mixture of platforms is a higher consideration so they want a mix of Xbox One, Xbox One X, Series X and S, PC’s with a wide array of configrations, etc. Only they know what percentages of each but they may have an abundance of whatever platform/config you’re on
Yeah I heard that as well and thanks for the insight, currently imp on the Series X but I actually did receive the email invitation so, funny enough, it was something wrong on my end. I do appreciate the help as well though.

If they were doing it based on amount of time played, then I’d agree. But I don’t believe that’s the case. They want to test across a number of Xboxes and PC specs, and some were just fortunate enough to be chosen for this flight.
Both me and my brother opted in, having both played Halo for years. He went for PC, with solid specs, while I went for the base Xbox One. But only I was given access to the flight.
