I got my preordered battlefield 3, and it is the best of both halo and call of duty. Battlefield 3 is call of duty, but with vehicles, awesome graphics, and awesome sniping. The game is so big, they need two disks. It is the most “realistic” game ever. Flashlights blind you, you can see lazer pointers on your face, and in the multiplayer, you can base jump. The maps scale from the size of breakpoint to as big as all of forge world. Considering annaversary’s multiplayer is halo reach’s plus map packs (similar to the ODST ordeal), and I have beat halo CE literally thirty times, I may just pretend halo never comes out and keep flying planes.
For those wondering, this is general xbox discussion, so yes, i can post this.
I have played the TU. all I am saying is that it is the same maps you have always been playing on with halo CE physics and reach weapons. The game is fourty dollars, like ODST, and has a single player disk and a matchmaking mythic disk. I did not personally think it was a good deal. Still getting it for the skulls.
No offense but I played the beta for that game and it was glitchy as hell. Then I played the full game and I noticed no difference. I haven’t spent a penny on BF3 and I already want a refund.

Just to add onto this, the beta, for how close to release the game was, gave off a really bad impression, a game that buggy, at that stage, was going to be filled with the same bugs at release.
I also heard the 360’s servers were down on release date?

I didn’t play it on release date good sir, I have a brother who works in a Blockbusters, we get to play the games a few days/weeks earlier so long as we don’t use our actual gamertags.
well that may be true but halo stays the same seeing that it is a sandbox game and this helps to not confuze any player in any way but if you think that battlefeild is better then call of duty and halo thats your choice i would rather stick with halo.
That’s all well and good but I gotta have my Halo fix. Halo has firefight, a better storyline, forge and as a byproduct of forge, better custom games and could have better MM too if 343 can utilize it properly.
I played the BF3 MM… It isn’t like Halo at all. LOL
I can see why some people like it a lot, but it isn’t for me. Too “real”. I prefer my FPS shooters to be sci-fi and futuristic, which Halo fits very well.

The Beta was actually a really old version of the game. They were mostly just testing the servers and seeing how they worked. Now, the game looks A LOT better.
