I’m worried about the Flood.

Hey guys,

This is definitely a bit premature but I’ve just been watching the infinite gameplay reveal and it got me thinking…I was originally hoping for the flood to return in infinite but with infinite’s cartoony/lego’y art style I’m worried they’re going to be a very watered down PG version of the flood, like, at the end of the day they’re zombies, they need to be a bit disgusting but I just can’t imagine anything like that being in the game looking at the game play!

I know I shouldn’t moan till we’ve seen anything and they might not even be in the game but it was just a thought I had and wonder if anyone feels the same?

I honestly don’t think they’ll be there at launch. Maybe in cryo styled tubes when venturing around buildings. I would look for them in a DLC

Yeah probably! I don’t think I’d mind that, just hope they keep faithful to how they looked H1-3 and don’t tone them down!

They’re not zombies, the Flood is a living parasite that holds onto a host and uses their body for movement and sometimes sacrificing bodies for bio mass to produce higher forms of flood. Zombies are mindless, the flood are anything but mindless.

As dlc to the game would be good, I just hated the Flood levels so I hope that they aren’t in an important/compulsory level of the game. I don’t mind them having a section especially for the flood in the open world, as long as you don’t HAVE to go there. Maybe a side quest or something, to get a weapon or vehicle

I hated them as well. Big pain in the butt, however I do miss their presence in the FPS series.
