I am trying to learn One final effort from the H3 OST. Yes, I am crazy, and no, I am not prepared for this. Anyone have any tips for making my fingers fly at 600+ mph? Any notes on this that you would like to comment on? (Btw I am pretty talented with piano, not trying to toot my own horn, so that’s not much of an issue.)
I don’t play any instrument, but want to throw in some encouragement!
You can figure it out OP! Surely with enough practice you’ll master the song!

Thanks man. Nice to see someone with sense in this community. XD
I found when learning the fast stuff it is easier to get it down by going slow and accurate and then you can speed it up as you go along.
I don’t play instruments, but I bet you’ve got this. If you’re not happy with yourself at first, just try again! Sure, it might get tedious, maybe you’ll want to give up. But trust me, just try and you’ll be there in no time!

Can I send you a message every time I need work on my uni assignments? Cause gosh you write good inspirational quotes.

Aww, thank you, that actually makes me really happy to hear! And I’m not sure if you’re being serious, but if you are go right ahead! : )
Cool! I play too. Been fiddling a little when I have time and energy with re-harmonising Walk in The Wood with a bunch of Major#11 block chords in 7/8. It sounds crazier than it really is. It’s a slow but fun project lol.
As for what you’re doing, sounds hard. Do you have a solo piano arrangement you’re practising on, or are you making one yourself? Which part is hardest?
I probably can’t help you more than to say that if it’s a matter of not being fast enough in the fingers, don’t attempt too much to do it faster than you actually can. This can cause the finger’s muscle memories to learn the things slightly incorrectly and that way causes the full process to take longer. Better to just practise slowly until it gets so natural that you almost speed up automatically. Maybe you’re already aware of this, but that’s all I’ve got. Patients is generally key. I hope you nail it, good luck!

Yeah, thanks! I’m using a free piano solo chart from musescore. One of the hardests parts is the slide between two Gs that are 3 octaves apart
I have no idea what reading piano music is like but yeah I’d just slow down on that part and speed up when you’re ready. Also don’t just practice the hard parts, use them all together so you can practice playing them at the same pace. But I also may have no idea what I’m talking about because I’m only 14 o-o. BUT YOU GOT THIS DUDE!
As far as I’m concerned, in the mid to final verses, all you have to do is mash the drums in a seizure and get someone to play some really strong wind instruments.
