I loved playing Halo but it’s not a fun as it once was.
I think many people switched to COD because of couple things.
Weapon selection and weapon customization’s. The wide range
of weapons to choose from too. It gives the player more control
of what they want to bring to the fight.
Just like COD there are “care packages” in halo u have
ordinances. I like the idea but when you can get power weapons that
easily, then it makes everything else useless. Make it harder to get ordinances.
Love sprint, great idea to have it.
You can say what you want about ranking, When you have a game that gives you ranks to build up to people will strive to it. So why not have
a “prestige” mode in halo. When you prestige get new weapon skins or unlock more different weapons for your ordnance drops. That could be a way to make ordnance drops work better too. Those are some of my ideas, I just find the game boring now a days.
You can say what you want about halo “stealing” things from COD. But there would be now COD or any First person shooters if it wasn’t for halo. They have every right to steal any ideas from any other games.
I find it boring too but your ideias is what made Halo less Halo. Halo 3 do not have sprint and played good, Reach have sprint and played better than Halo 4, Halo 4 have sprint and everyone turns COD players…
If you look at especializations you see the Halo prestige, every time you enter a new one you gain something (skins, weapons…)

how are you going to back up that claim? Where is proof? Also if those games steal tings from Halo why does Halo now need to steal things from them?
the competitive community of halo switched to cod because mlg has a larger payout at tournaments than agl.
the competitive community switched to cod before the throwdown playlist was out.
there are alot of reasons why infinity slayer is unfair but most of it is because of the lack of balance in the game. dmr>br scattershot>shotgun beam>sniper rail>sticky detonator speed boost>damage boost inceneration cannon>rockets
also the fact that no weapons are on the map and weapons that are dropped by spartins disapear super fast. you need the ammo perk just to keep from running out. this discourages someone from getting a perfection. you end up getting in a beatdown battle just to get some ammo. this does not make the game fair, easy, or fun to play.

I’ve been playing Halo since the first night of release of CE and I think Halo 4 is the best thus far.
You don’t speak for me, hence to me Halo 4 is a Halo game.
English is not your 1st language is it? But reach did not play better than h4. All th aas were imbalanced, the maps were god awful, the art style was bad, and bloom was to high. Also the movement speed was lowered for sprint, which wasn’t even a global trait. Not to mention it was slower then halo 3. Halo 3 is slow when you compare it to halo 4 but that doesn’t mean that halo 3 is bad. I like halo 4 just as much as 3.

There are weapons on the map, what u smokin bro? Also mlg has said that they couldn’t run with halo this year because of -Yoink!- gaming. Don’t blame halo 4, because it has the settings to make it pro. Blame ms for passing them up. You still have alg anyway.

halo is not the original first person shooter. i remember playing n64 007 goldeneye before halo. it was just the xbox console launch game that made the console popular. and i first played halo ce on computer. i didnt get an xbox untill xbox live. i was a little behind the times… hell i didnt have an nes untill 96… lol…
Opinions!
Halo 4 is a halo game. They tried to incorporate the fun things from other games but they kind of failed on them ideas. Like ranking, once you get 130 it’s kind of boring. Yeah yeah, you shouldn’t play the game for ranking up. Well we all do, no matter what you say. I don’t understand how someone would hate sprint.
There would be no xbox 360 without the halo franchise. Look what halo ce did. What other game at that time period could have done what they done for xbox? That’s why there wouldn’t be xbox without halo

Yes opinions. Everyone is aloud to have one. That is why people post stuff is to get
other ones opinions

sure there are weapons on map but not like in h3. there are some power weapons but no rifles or secondaries. the power weapons disappear very quickly. then you have to count on ordinance which the only way to get ordinance is to get kills with your rifles which run out of ammo with no way of replenishing. k/d obviously doesnt matter to the creaters.

ranking, there is csr now. i just wish it was in game.
sure there would be xbox 360. a microsoft console is a good idea. you have a windows computer dont you? i mean it is a name we trust. if it wasnt halo it would just be some other game and would be just as popular. personally i like the controllers. i never really liked the cheap feeling small playstation controllers. i love all nintendo controllers before wii. i never bought a playstation. i think it is because of the controller.
what game could have been a first person shooter release of the time period? i would say unreal tournament.

Halo needs to stay Halo and not try to be something else…at all…COD games have made ppl think that having a skin for your skin is important when in reality it isnt. Halo was always about competition until Halo tried to be more like COD then it all has gone down hill for it. So no Halo doesnt need to copy or borrow or adjust to a game like COD ever…

Well, there are normal weapons in dominion, but it should be like that in every playlist.

Halo is trying to be a modern shooter, that’s not a bad thing. Halo was modern when it first came out, then in 2007 the market suddenly changed because of cod 4. Arena shooters were THE shooter at the time, the reason cod 4 was successful was because it broke away from the norm. Halo is just trying to re modernize.
You can’t keep the same game. Halo 4 did modernize and they need. you can’t keep eating the same for breakfast for everyday after day after day. They don’t need to stick with the “same” halo feel. I like the idea 343 had about adding all these features to the game but like I said they didn’t think them through all the way
If you mean balancing wise than I totally agree. I like the game but it has definite balancing issues.

No the skin is not important but it part of the game that puts you in control of your own weapon personality. It just gives the gamer control of the game.
