I’ve been scrolling around the forums for a bit, and while im seeing alot of compliments, it seems everyone wants something else changed now. I’ve played through quite a few games today and used all kinds of weapons, the br, carbine, AR, storm rifle, suppressor, turrets, and the saw, and im completely satisfied with the changes. 343 really delivered with this update. The new kill times really benefit skilled players, but dont punish new players as bad as before. I can really feel how each weapon fills its role now instead of just being meshed together with overlapping ranges. not to mention the warthog is finally a force to be feared. it now kills in such a short time it isn’t just a push over anymore, it can really put down enemies. If they keep this kind of set up for halo 5, i will definately be all about it. Good job 343
I agree. I think they really need to make Halo 5 run at 60 FPS. If it is 30 FPS, I feel like it won’t play as smoothly. Halo 4’s frame rate dips down really badly when a lot of grenades are exploding on a forge map, and doesn’t stay at 30 even when nothing is going on. That has the negative effect of making my crosshair lag when I’m moving it around, which makes it pointless to even try to shoot anyone.

My xbox is like almost 5 years old yet i NEVER had any framerates issues.You’d better get a new xbox buddy.
Plus,i rather have 30 fps with good graphics rather than 60 fps with crappy graphics
^lol…youve gotta be kidding me…
This update is fantastic! Now if only we had those classic game types we used to have and then I think Halo 4 has the chance to be one of the best games yet.
Not happy with swapping the spawning Incineration for a Fuel Rod on Meltdown but over all I think it works well, oh also not happy with the vanishing Scorpion & Wraith on BTB, my 2 favorite vehicles when playing solo, hogs I prefer when with friends.
But yep a thumbs up for me, hell I even picked up a Carbine on Settler yesterday when my LR had ran outta ammo & I got 2 kills with it before being mowed down by a DMR user haha

Had 28 kills in one game on Settler yesterday and 16 of them with the BR against those DMR users
Yes, 343 made a good job. This game is one HUGE step close to became a real Halo. Much love 343.

CoD games have very good visuals and run a very smooth 60fps. With Halo games you almost have to stop to get the full impact of the graphics.
I fell in love with the BR and Thruster pack again thanks to this update.
Thank you 343I! You have gained some of my trust back!

Just wanna say two things here.
- Every single Xbox has the same exact hardware and will play all games exactly the same, getting a new Xbox won’t fix anything.
- Xbox one will have much improved hardware. The sky is the limit here and 60 fps halo is likely going to happen.
I agree. This update rocks my socks.

Seriously? Dude, go play a FPS game on a PC that is able to run at a solid 60 FPS. Then come back and repeat on what you just said. I can run my PC Games at 60 FPS and still maintain good graphics. I don’t where your getting at with “60 FPS with crappy graphics”
I experience Frame Rate drops in Halo 4. Why should I blame my TV for? What does the TV have to do with FPS Performance? FYI, this game doesn’t run at NATIVE 1080p.
I agree this update is great. But it begs the question, why did we have to wait 7-8 months for it to be this good. Was it just a time crunch to get the game out fast or did they not do enough beta testing or what? I just want a great product from the start instead of the constant evolution and the whining and complaining that comes with a less than stellar rollout.
So the Chain hog got a buff? This true?
Yup. Turned the 'hog into a beast with a 35% damage increase to the chaingun turret.
I liked the speed updates so much that the only thing that could have made the update better is 120% movement speed with no sprint.
Seriously . . . I love the 110% speed for the update. A fantastic idea.
@Hot Top Fade
You are right graphics do actually look great,back in 2005…
@MISTA NUTJOB
I’ll just watch some gameplay of the games on Xbox One as im not getting it anyway
My pc can run almost any new game on highest graphics,yet i only use it to play some classic strategy games.I hate FPS-eses on the PC,plus i was talking about the Xbox 360…
I love it all aswell except…i feel the saw needs a slight more bullet spread. But i can live with it being the way it is :).
I like it as well. I haven’t had a chance to really play that much. But I know I am having to relearn how to play. But that is a good thing.
