Especially the part where the Tactical Magnum respawns throughout the match and I’m the only one in the lobby who knows about it! It’s pretty damn nice.
Seriously though, of the two matches I’ve done so far, it’s looking pretty swell.

Wouldn’t the Gunfighter be a better one? Since the Tactical Magnum you basically can just pick off infected with the silencer it has?

Doesn’t matter which is “best”…the Tac Mag still kicks -Yoink- on Infection.
In all my years of playing Halo (seriously since 2001) I don’t recall having EVER played infection… until recently. I had a lot of fun it with it but I had too many distractions at the time to get fully immersed in the round. I’ll revisit it however and pay more attention.
I still struggle to get through multiple games of infection. I don’t care for the CQB weapons in halo 5. The shotgun, sword, scattershot, and hammer all feel really inconsistent to me. Like I can take one shotgun shot at a Spartan/zombie and it will kill them, and then replicate the exact same scenario and they’ll be hurt, and replicate it a third time and the shot will miss completely.
Its ultimately quite frustrating.
Maps look great, though!

It is a bit of a dice roll, which kinda sucks, but it’s still just wacky fun.
The new “conpetetive” Breakout with shotguns, on the other hand…
